You don't really need swap on modern systems with plenty of RAM (uncheck before installing MX)! mainly because SSD disks don't like to be repeatedly rewritten at the same spot (extending the lifespan of SSD) For linux beginners: SWAP is something like Pagefile.sys in Windows, in the situations when there is no sufficient RAM, the system simply writes to data to disk, except that Linux SWAP is a small partition and all the data that don't have free RAM space is temporarily written to SWAP. Linux system is usually not as "memory hungry" as Windows, so even without the SWAP partition You'll not experience crashes (unless You really have an extremely low amount of RAM)

@@pedro-3339 good! I had windows10 installed on the boot partition and was adding mx linux so i could dual boot. I guess thats why i didnt see EFI as an option?? IDK I do this enough to mess everything up!
