How to Duplicate Items in Diablo 3 - All Methods

Sorry method two won’t work for gold but you can use method three to share gold to another account, sorry I was just playing D2. I also want to apologize I couldn’t record the actions but this video should help you understand the methods to duping items. If you have any questions send me a message on Discord. Method two works with gold too... You have to go to the party tab to transfer the gold to the second account, trigger an auto save, transfer the gold back to the main account, and log off without triggering another auto save (don't close the party menu, just like the inventory menu for duping items, you can actually dupe items and gold at the same time)

There’s an easier method to duping on PS4 I believe, I used to be able to duplicate stuff much easier than this with the mailbox - no sign out needed, you’d enter it into the mailbox and as it pops up with ‘do you want to send this to xxxx blah blah’ you’d press the PlayStation start/menu button and the Circle button at the same time and it would send a copy whilst keeping yours aswell, I used to send everything using that method. I would normally rotate the controller onto a 90 degree angle and hold it like that, holding onto the right side of the controller because you had to press them at exactly the same time otherwise it would send it without duplicating. I never needed to sign out or do anything like you said.

You can also dupe with a 2nd player online, you need to host a game with 2 people, and whoever is duping can’t be host, drop everything to be duped and then force the game to close, restart it and it should have duped. Now you’ll have one copy on the floor and one in your backpack. The mailbox method can only be used to send 1 thing at a time! The ground one can do it for lots of items.

You need them to invite you back to their game and then you’ve got 2 items, that’s how I’ve always duped. No signing out needed, you just restart the game and rejoin.

Yeah that method does work as well but you have to have the timing just right it's great for cosmetics though

@@LionGamingCrew it's very easy to learn how I just use to turn my controller slightly up on the right side and have it on an angle till both circle and the start button are flat and parallel to you. Now both thumbs can press with the same precision.

On switch you can use cloud storage if you have a Nintendo online account it's the easiest way to dupe an entire accounts worth of gear to an alt account. Just make sure you backup save game before dropping the items.

On PC everything is account bound so there is no way to dupe or share modified items that would need to be done onto your account but the risks of being banned are higher on PC vs Consoles

Does drop dupe still work? Every mat that is dropped on xbox has a P1-4 tag on it when dropped

The drop dupe still works make sure you are doing it in Act 1 New Tristram!

Try to check your network it may be your internet connection. You can reset your modem and or router and see if that fixes the issue

I just figured out how to make it work on Xbox. Same steps as before but with a new addition. After you sign out, your character won’t disappear like before. While still in the inventory menu, hit start and drop that character out. The items will drop like before. Then, sign back into the account and the items will be duplicated.
