How do older heads dye. Like a brine shotgun, would it be easier to to this dye since the sides are all one flat piece?
@vikramk68988 жыл бұрын
If I do a grey outside in dye then dye the whole head blue will it give the grey a blue tint or will the grey stay unaffected.

Have u tried this technique for an inside out dye yet instead of tapeing it? Seems like it'd b the same concept

This is how I'll do inside-out dyes in the future.

I play defense and love the look of a dyed head but every time I dye a head it becomes very flimsy and warps. Is there any way to keep the head stiff and dye it?
@redstarlacrosse8 жыл бұрын
You can use a cooler temperature for your dye bath,and then throw it in the freezer when you're done. The cooler dye may not give you as vibrant, or deep colors, but it does still work.

do you think flex seal would work better to cover the outside?
@carterenglish27283 жыл бұрын
Trust me on this, no. Flex seal is almost impossible to get off once its on and its a pain to get it even looking decent

When dying, does the water have to be boiling or hot, about what temp? and is it better to dye a lighter color under or over a darker color?
@guttadisbreif12097 жыл бұрын
Carson J. DeMan use boiling water and if you are using RIT dye then the color you are dying over will blend with the color that is already on the head

Maybe over the edge with hot glue? Could add a cool line for the dye
@davidbaysa54508 жыл бұрын
I don't have any experience with dying and I know that getting hot glue off is way more of a pain, but wouldn't it be easier in the long run to just fill all the holes with hot glue then doing a quick spray of the rubber coat? it would be harder to get off but maybe it would give cleaner lines and you wouldn't need to go through and sand all the tape edges
@redstarlacrosse8 жыл бұрын
It might be easier to do it that way. I'm just not able to get very clean lines with hot glue.

i would buy your mesh from you site but it says "your connection is not private, attackers can steal your information from www.redstarlacrosse.com" this has never happened before and even tho its just info from redstar that could be stolen, i don't trust it.
