I love how the pattern turned out! Awesome. This soy milk is the same that is sold at the supermarket?

How did you get that beautiful pattern? Was your fabric knotted before placing it in the dye?

Why does the soy milk pattern need to dry for multiple weeks first!
@TheMerrythought3 жыл бұрын
From everything that I read before trying the project, it's important for the soy milk have time to "cure" and completely bond to the fabric. Everyone says at least a week is important.

Do you have to use soy milk or can it be another product?

I’m trying to figure out a way to undertake the seemingly Herculean task of dyeing a queen sized comforter with avocado pits. My friends have an avocado tree and saved 70+ pits for me! :-O It’d be tough but do you think I could transport pots of boiling water to the bath tub to have something large enough to soak the comforter in? Any recommendations?

I've seen a lot of people dye in plastic totes but I've never dyed anything that big! I would think if you boiled it in batches and dumped it in the tote, it would probably work just fine.
