Which way is better Color the rope first or Color it after making purse??

well it depends as the newly bought rope is much tighter so u have to soak it first then u dye it this way color distributes well and u are not left with holiday spaces but if u want to dye after making bag then u have to soak the bags same way u soak the cord in the water so water could go into fibers and make it soft so it would absorb dye well but do remove the hardware as it would catch rust so both ways can be better depends how long u have soaked the fiber b4 dying it
