Thank you puppy for being the most patient puppy ever so we can learn! And thank you Itza for being a good teacher. I've used temp dyes on my husky to get a rainbow tail but the way I do it is the stupidest most convoluted thing LOL I don't have these tube paints, I have these hair color chalks, and also some ink that was intended to be for an airbrush that i could never get to work.. so I'd just mix the ink and chalk to make a sort of paste, and then apply it with a toothbrush. considering i was doing it on a husky tail, this took absolute ages. That said, this method also let me do the white part of the inside of her ears, which i imagine would not be safe or practical to do using these tube paints LOL

This brand is one of the every few that are actually safe and do fully reveal ingredients, the only way i would do inner ear is to fold it the opposite way and use wet cloth to rinse, but i suggest only a professional do that. If you were to use Crazy liberty on your husky, It will grab VERY WELL to the soft undercoat and have to slowly fade and shed out, so be ready to have that color over a YEAR. The wirey hairs will fade fastest. Now we do have new color magic shampoo, and dye in pastel shade which can be adjusted how strong you want. canadiangroomingdistributor.com/collections/crazy-liberty

🥰 so cute. I have a male shihtzu 14 yrs old. I also let the groomer color his tail, it’s so cute at the end how he loves to show it off once we leave the groomer. I think I’m going to order this brand and take to them to use. It’s so nice and vibrant

I'd love to see one on dyeing black or tan hair, what would you use for bleaching? I'd also like to see more techniques using the Crazy Liberty Airbrush, I think I'll be ordering that shortly from CGD! 😊 Lastly, what's the mat called that you have in the tub?

I don't agree with bleaching or use of oxidizing dyes so I don't do it myself nor have any videos.

The mat in tub is one we made ourselves from floor grates bought at local " Canadian Tire" we ziptied them together and added aluminum c channel on bottom to hold slightly up out of water. That way suds and water and dye rinse away.. This mat was made in 2012 and is still in use today. It gets flipped over and scrubbed and disinfected daily.

@@nilahamilton1092 very long.. You can adjust how long a little by how much you let it soak, if you apply to dry hair or mixed with cond.. I soaked my Poodles dye ( pink feet, green leg vine and flower on hip) an hour, it lasted from July to now I'm just cutting off the last bit of color off her bracelets.. Poodle hair is porous so it grabs well..

What a good boy! How do you do the whole body? Does the whole torso need to be wrapped in foil too?

You only need to wrap to prevent color from leaking to rest of hair. If your doing the whole body it doesn't matter unless your trying to keep certain colors from touching like yellow & blue..

This is a little late and I would love if you could respond. My dog tends to lick literally anything that has a taste. Is it bad if he would do that to the dye? And another question is will it wash out with dog soap and water or will I need to get other things to wash it off. If so any diy things to get it off bc I'm a broke high school student and can't really afford to buy a remover and dye.

This is a permanent dye that will soak into hair. There is nothing that will remove it safely from hair. You apply soak and rinse excess off. I don't suggest allowing to lick the dye while it's wet. After it's rinsed and dried he will just be licking his own hair.

Rubbing alcohol. Any dye that got on my walls or skin came right off with 90% rubbing alcohol or acetone.

My dog is a rottweiler, what color would ultraviolet show up on her tan/orange?

Violet is the strongest..it will show up, but the color will be affected by the orange undertones. Like coloring on tan paper... Do not bleach your dog it's not healthy

Use Semi Permanent or Temporary if you want something you can remove. Permanent dye will last a long time, and will have to be clipped out.
