I am not satisfied with the quality of this video. The content is good (and my 24 month plan!) but the presentation is lacking and I should have done better. Girl and Boy Troops are supposed to be separate. My old Troop and my new Troop are Boy only. There should be Girl Troops in your District already. We have 3 or 4 in our District.

I think in my college essay, saying that I will become an Eagle Scout which I did in December 2018 really helped me get accepted to college

Yes!!! 1) Make a plan. Discover the required items total (including badges.) 2) Immediately start working on things that take TIME. For example, there are fitness requirements where you track your progress for a certain amount of time. Start that as soon as you can. Don't forget to be thinking about a leadership position. There are some really different options that might not be obvious, so do some research. Also, some badges require that you do an activity for a certain amount of time. It is very difficult to do all the required badges at once, so pick a few at a time and Immediately start the things that take TIME. 3) For the optional badges, pick ones that are activities you already participate in. This will make it easy to get them done. Yes, it is great to use the badges as a way to try new things. But if you are in a rush, just go for easy optional badges for now. Once the pressure is off, you can do badges just because you want to. 4) Go to camp, if you can. Plan to do difficult badges at camp. 5) And finally, when you get 1st Class, time to start coming up with ideas for your Eagle Scout project. You don't need to do.much yet, but start brain-storming ideas.

Yes, it is possible. It takes effort, focus, and diligence. Like Suran stated you need a plan and start now. Talk to your SM and SPL. See who in your Troop is Merit Badge Counselor for every merit badge you need.

Now that I think about it I iron mine less time than that probably 20 months I would have to go back in my book and find out but I knew I couldn't mess up I had a very limited time frame but for sure knew it was some less time than 24 months

No I didn't have much time before I turn 18 I actually I have a real interesting story on how that worked out if you want to hear my story because I was in venture crew prior and it led me up two one big story

Once you turn 18 it is not mandatory to quit scouts, you just can not obtain eagle. As a tenderfoot you should probably not have made this as allot of it is misinformation.
