Let's be honest. Poetry books aren't 10 percent as much in demand as fiction and non-fiction books. Thus, it's not easy to generate money by getting your poetry book published.
But poetry is an open-ended and flexible genre that can surely generate income, if you push the boundaries, and explore the commercial potential fo poetry in collaboration with visual arts, advertising, education, etc.
