George let me give you a different perspective on why so many people are surprised by the free content. Most of us start out just like you with generosity and helping people out and then some of us encounter exploitative situations that change our outlook on the world. So in order to protect themselves and not get used and abused, they put up this shield of not extending any helping hand and keeping their money whenever they can. I went through this but I came back around after maturing and getting a bigger understanding of the world. I am confident that I can be generous and not be exploited because I went through it and came back with wisdom

I commented twice "you are a legend" in 2 of your video. I take that word quite seriously actually. 2 weeks ago i paid someone that helped me but didn't want nothing. Recently gave money to an old lady looking in bins and im dead broke because of a thing i had to pay recently.. My dad is like your dad. My dad started working in construction at 17 as a tiler and is still working at 65. My dad is a legend. Being like this is normal. You are an absolute legend. I look forward to all your videos. Great appreciation and gratitude from my side for what you provide. Really priceless. Thank you

Man you are so spot on! I am from Eastern Europe, and my father always said dont be cheap, NO ONE likes cheap men, I used to have this trait and in turn I lost a lot of connections. Men, tip your waiters, delivery guys and old people that you shop from from the market, its gonna have little to no impact on your financial state, Now that Ive worked on being more generous without expecting anything in return I instantly started despising those cheapskates haha. This is so true, I'm from Serbia and used to work with a bunch of programmers who were making really good money. They would always remember who ordered a drink (cheap stuff, a coke or some coffee) and make the guy pay his extra 2 3 dollars or whatever. Drove me nuts. Only the manager was gregarious and nonchalant, treating people for lunch when they did a good job etc. He was the most appreciated and loved one in the group even though he didn't even do any technical work.

You know George, that video makes me very happy. I always used to help others, never expecting nothing in return, and always if I see people fight I try to stop them, cause my father told me and in those situation he always took action. Sadly he died 5 years ago. The fact is that people tell me the same, that what I do isn’t normal and is unique, that I shouldn’t be like that always. And I was feeling wrong for all that time, my father isn’t here anymore to tell me that it’s ok if bein like that bring “shit” to me sometimes. Sometimes I have to put limit and cut people out of my life cause I notice they drain me. So I learned to be kind and not stupid. I tought that I was kinda dumb you know, cause I always tell myself after bein consistent in helping others, that it’s ok, that’s me, I like to help others, I don’t care if they give me back something. Even if a person took advantage of me, I think positive, at least I helped someone. And seeing a video that tell me this is a masculine trait and is a normal thing, makes me feel better about myself! Thank you George, you made my day! One love! 🍒
@j00f11 ай бұрын
Just do what feels right. I got used many times for being too generous, so now I don't give away money easily if someone asks. Besides, I don't want to be friends with someone who asks for money (I've even been shamed for being 'a bad friend' for not giving money -which is just manipulation) . I like to give when nobody is asking and offer for help before anyone needs to ask.

Hmm, to be generous can also be just a manipulation tactic. Its acutally something i experienced with my friend too. It is extremely important to not be too generous to a broke person because its just making each other feel indebted to each other. Internal there is always a debtmeter active. Oh i owe you , now you owe me back and forth. Its a bad way to connect with each other. Generosity comes from abundance, everything else is just a game of submission and manipulation in my opinion.

We've lived for a year but I don't consider him reliable. All I have is pity for him because he's going to have it tough if he doesn't change. If you offer help to a man, i have a count to 3 method, if im feeling im getting used while having those 3 strikes, they're out, being generous is what my father has teached me. But for women, most women are used to using men for their own advantage, they can abuse your generousity, watch out for that, give them no chance.

You should never have interactions with whom you fear it can scale up to a physical fight. You never, ever should fear brutally injuring other person unless you're caught in a rare situation in which that's the only option. You have to be able to control yourself and get away from poisonous environments.
