What he did is pretty good however he wasted a lot of seconds reloading, when your going empty swap to a side arm and mag dump as long as you land your shots it will be effective and at some point you will have to reload but swapping before you need to helps. I managed to complete the trial around 30-40 seconds.

For the Jump Pack, people are saying that the ground pound reticle needs to be present before the game allows you to jump, otherwise it will just not allow you to jump.

Your absolutly right on this one. Yellow reticle needs to be shown where you want to jump or its not working. Found this advice on steam forum aswell, tested it and can confirm it.

Yes. It works differently to the campaign. You can’t just jump up into the air. You jump towards the reticule. If it ain’t on screen when you press jump, you won’t.

A tip for the final tactical trial that you went through - save the barrels by the sniper for the group that spawns before. Just run to it as the back-right spawn comes and blow it up.

For that final tactics I drag all the enemies toward the barrels and try to get as many as I can if you can take down 2 to 3 warriors it's pretty quick.

For the Tactical trial with the Melta, you blast the first group, shoot the red barrels on the ledges as you did in video, then blast the group that spawns to the right. At this point you will have a ranged Warrior, and two melee Warriors spawning in. You run to the ranged warrior, run through and past the red barrels, then turn around and blast those barrels hopefully without self deleting. You should get all 3 Warriors in the explosion. For the ranged Tactical trial, be aware that there are two levels of zoom, and when you clear the middle platforms your Scan cooldown is finished and gun reloaded, so if you can clear those in one magazine with the help of a Scan you'll save precious seconds.

Very good guide, huge props to op. For the Tactical regarding that last trial 'Battle Awareness' one thing I done different that worked for me was instead of shooting the barrell at the back post 3rd set that spawn that you take out, I found it easier to shoot the barrell pre the 3rd wave that spawns in just so that enemies left are all close by as sometime your fight with them can take you around the corner.

2:30 so he’s ordering them by challenge. The first listed Vanguard mission is the hardest- the key is, you get 2 grapple kicks every soldier kill. Kick the little guys for half the room- kick the soldier, empty clip into him, cut him up. You get a mag and both grapples refilled. Repeat

Thanks. Tactical Trails - Auspex Scan i cant do, I do it 43-45-49-XX sek. So think i am going to leave that one. Hope it not that a big of deal, I go back now and then and see if i can do it, Now i use around 45 minute on it, So need a break 🙂 Assault Trails - Jump Pack many times didn't work for me 😞 But i got it done by simple waiting at the edge and check if it works or not. If you level up the weapons in multiplayer, it affects how strong they are in trials as well. Might be worth waiting until you are higher level

First try for most was A except for "Battlefield Awareness".and "Auspec Scan"for the Tactical, those took me a few tries. Truly thanks for the guide. Seems like for the long range shots you forgot you can zoom in. Also the defend the 2 zones on Bulwark is by far the hardest in my experience.

I do have a tio for everyone that's not getting times. Dont use the kill animation, just melee or shoot your majors enemies when they flash red. It's just a second quicker on average and can save you some time if your not low on armor

The tactically are also pretty easy for the first trial try to get all enemies on the lower portion near the barrels scan and kill them with the barrels/melta The second one switch to the underwater grenade launcher scan+1 grenade kills the first to majoris 1 grenade for the minors on the right platform and then you still have 30sec. to kill the last majoris BUT the grenade launcher doesn’t shoot that far so don’t miss your scan and don’t miss your headshots on that guy

The Lictor one took me half an hour to get ’cause Lictors are to me personally the hardest enemies in the game. Surprisingly the Battlefield awareness went down in 30 seconds on the second attempt 😅

The bulwark is the only one that seems broken for me. It simply won't give me the bash 10 enemies. During the trial, it checks, but once done, it treats it as if I didn't do it.

People have reported that 20 shield bashes should work. It worked for myself and 2 of my friends. Definitely is a bug or they mislabelled the challenge.

Tip for the first tactical challenge. You reload for free after each wave, swap to your pistol to finish off the second wave instead of reloading. Makes it much easier to complete.

I got unbelievably lucky on the second to last trial you showed. I had tried 5 or so times, and got super frustrated so when the first enemy spawned I just sprinted at him and for some reason the last enemy spawned early, I focused on him and the game thought I beat the trial

Tactical Ausphex scan on controller is incredibly hard. I'm up to 30+ attempts now. 44 seconds being my best so far.

The only trial that really held me up what’s the auspex one every other one I was able to complete after a couple of tries if I just sticked to each classes strengths, like bulwark I don’t remember really ever needing to use my sidearm for the trials

Tip for tactical: Get yourself a bolt rifle with a grenade launcher first and have it selected for the class before attempting it and you can use it in Auspex scan at least. Still bloody hard anyway.

I found the Tactical to be a fun challenge. I also had issues with the Assault jump, the jump targeting is very picky. However the revival scout trial is kicking my butt. Probably spent a good 30mins trying to get it from1:05 to 1:00. I know "get good", but I attempted this one too much to not be pist.

Going for execution is not always what you want to do. An execution animation takes like 3 maybe even up to 4 seconds and that is what can cost you precious time. This time can make the difference between A or B rankings.

So for the assault I realized your reticle has to be aimed toward the ground to use. If you aim between the platforms it won't register. I'm guessing this is because you move forward as you jump. Hope it changes in the future it's my fav class but has so many downsides.

Lucky I got a bug on first Tactical trial, I was spamming restart if I was slow on the first mob by jumping down, so the first Warrior and Sniper spawned at the same time I killed the Warrior quick and killed the Sniper after which took like 28 secs and it counted right after I killed the Sniper LMFAO, if anyone struggling you may try jumping down instantly and spam restart maybe you get that spawn

My stance on the trials is that with the exception of the cloak and revive sniper trial they are all reasonable. Some might come down to the last second, but it's entirely on you. Same can't be said for that sniper trial. You are very reliant on AI behaviour to even stand a chance of hitting A rank, regardless of how good you play.

The Vanguard Hypnomat challenge is making me rage. I have to cut an entire 10 seconds off to get to 40 seconds. I can't for the life of me complete it fast enough. I had to shut off the game, I was so mad. The stupid burst fire gun doesn't help. Why did they have to make these so goddamn hard. Games are supposed to be fun, not make your blood pressure go up.
