That is a project I could actually handle, LOL! I have to look into the DIY Paint. I want to paint the woodwork in my kitchen white, and then the cabinets, but the thought of using chalk paint is intimidating and I don't want to have to sand or degloss every surface before painting it. At the rate I get into and finish projects, it could take 10 years, so I want something that is minimum prep and maximum speed easy and comes out looking fabulous, dahling!

Forgive me for this very obvious question, but I"m a little confused. Did you begin by rubbing the DIY Summer Crush paint directly on the pot, or did you mix the pain with salt (1:1) first and then apply it to the pot?

That’s a great question and I realized I didn’t explain that! I mixed the DIY Paint in Summer Crush with the Salt Wash Powder. If you mixed with plain salt, the salt just dissolves. Saltwash is a texture powder medium I sell. You can buy a 1oz sample on my site along with DIY paint if you would like to try it:) redouxinteriors.myshopify.com/

Plastic pots adhering paint an issue?

Not at all. DIY Paint forms a bond with any surface. Plastic, glass, anything. I have used it almost exclusively for 10 years and have yet to find a surface it won't bond with.
