Ryzeal - Battlin Boxers: this deck goes nuts with target prevention, target deletion, and card negation. If I'm correct, it has the following by the end of a perfect turn 1: Target Prevention for BB monsters 4 Battle Phase destruction Prevention and 2 reverse damage 3 Card negation (1 monster effect, 1 spell negation, 1 of both) 4-5 Target Destruction. Still fine tuning for consistency, but when it gets rolling, you're done.

The thing with artifact lancea vs maliss is that as long as maliss player has an extender in hand and a transcode in the extra deck you still get to end on a terahertz which is still alright if backed up by hand traps or defensive non engine so I’d recommend just running transcode in the Ed if playing maliss

I’m considering buying into Malice. I wasn’t going to initially, but you mentioned how much stronger the deck is likely to become in one of your other videos, and I thought what you said made sense. 3 decks. First right now is Swordsoul Horus. I know its weird, but trust me it works well together. Second deck is Time thief Ryzeal. Rank 4 spam engines that actually has some good synergy. And lastly but what im most excited for is Gladiator Beast in January. Been awhile but they are back and better than ever.

We only have a few of the Armored cards at this time, namely the R6 XYZ tied to Rio Kastle and now Utopic Ray Lancer, and a couple support cards, with both and the R5 used to summon the R6 being excellent techs to use together with Utopic Ray Lancer too, using Lyrilusc Bird Sanctuary to pile on and buff the XYZ.

I’ll be playing Memento this format because I really like the deck for its skill intensive ceiling gameplay, recycling of cards, and its lore - I don’t care if it’s meta but I’m seeing more videos on it so I think it might be a strong tier deck. Ive been playing branded despia for the last year or two lol. Its such a skill ceiling deck and i feel like ive only just in the last few months crossed that gap to be the good pilot you talk about. Ive been pretty into playing thunder dragons with branded too

Playing around with some bs jank; - a nearly pure Destiny Hero build with a bit of the new Evil Hero support mixed in called 'P.E.D.s' (Plasma Enforcer Dominance) - a Water Pile consisting of Ice Barrier/Mermail/Atlantean/Frog/Icejade etc. synergies (also experimenting with sharks and tidal) that I haven't named yet. - and lastly a Lair of Darkness build built around Dark Dragons (Bystials, Red-Eyes etc) and Max Metalmorph that I call 'Dragons Lair', really want to start throwing Primite in the mix here as well but haven't been able to afford picking up the engine.

Draco Berzerker of the Tenyi can possibly slap them all off the board. I also somehow thought of Reversible Beetle as an odd tech, because it is Eclipse @ Home essentially, and it hits a back row, meaning a spell or trap or pendulum could be Mooned too.

Consider super poly with either Garura or Earth Golem @Ignister as targets against Maliss, additionally Ace Spades Speculation hits Ryzeal if they end on either Duo or Detonator so long as you can set a card.

Playing Melodious - plays a lot of strong hand traps like purge and orange light. Going second plays into the Ryzeal board decently because of Aria. Going first end board is also decent b/c of Aria/Elegy. Still some clear weaknesses - Board Breakers + Yubel in the format. Also not sure how the Maliss matchup is.

was about to give up on VS and switch to mimighoul BUT as the format positions itself i believe that VS could have a real shot, especially the build that i play which i didnt see anyone else play, since VS cannot really play handtraps all that well i went for the wakaushi engine to complement the VS core, what that does is either it gives you Razen without using your normal summon, or you start to play baooska which you can turn to ATT so you can combo off on your next turn and then turn her into DEF with Jiaolong on your opp turn and lock your opp down while you still get the borger draw and all that good stuff in the DP.
