Spreadsheet info:
I have a spreadsheet which collects all sorts of data on Monster Hunter World Iceborne that people ask about a lot - things like the materials needed to upgrade the best charms (e.g. handicraft, expert etc), a list of all the guiding land monster drops and gathering nodes (plus it's searchable), what materials you need for every possible augment (attack, affinity, defence, health, slot, element/status) in the game, etc:

It also includes things like a list of ALL the 4 slot decorations (including even the rare 12 ones which ONLY drop from sealed feystones) so you know the best deco's to aim for when farming. It even has detailed images for the guiding land gathering nodes (the one's that drop materials like the guiding dragonbones/crystals etc) which you need for custom weapon upgrades/augments!
My list of guiding land drops can be sorted either by drop type (so it finds the monster to fight for a particular part) or you can use it to just find the parts belonging to any monster (no more pulling your hair out over how to get those Enchanting Finehide/Trancehide for your health augments!). This goes up to and includes the tempered elders (speaking of which, check out my 5 slot tempered investigation farming macro if you haven't already!)
It also has a Safi'Jiiva relic checklist to easily monitor which awakened weapons you're missing from the new siege!

I’ve been practicing monsters with the GS lately with crit draw play style. it really lets you learn openings easily and monster patterns. For instance Furious rajang almost always attacks in 3 attacks. usually the middle attack is the ground punch where he 180’s then a lightning slam punch, a jump lightning ball, a breath attack or a belly flop. all leave openings to get a charge slash off

Well thanks to your tips here, I kinda realized that every strat you talked about is what I used too. I managed to solo him at 15 min. My friends and I had a little small competition to see who can kill T-F.Rajang solo. Oh and uh keep up the good tips. I don't usually subscribe to people but I did enjoy this content here. If I want to see more maybe I'll consider subscribing. Just because of the accent and the way you talk or explain the tips and tricks in the video but a little text or maybe separately talk about specific strats might help since you're kinda bouncing off topics here and there. So I had to backtrack sometimes to keep up but I don't mind it too much. It's just how the lateral thinkers operate, so that's fine.

I just started running this quest to try and get handicraft/maintenance, handicraft/protection, and challenger+ decos. Of course, using velk Y and fatalis GS nowadays, but was struggling with the strat and openings. Hoping this video helps me out, because I am not that great at GS, my main weapon is SnS which is NOT exactly the best for Temp Furious Rajang lol.

From what I can tell you only need Tremor Res 1 to deal with most of the tremors. It's very value.

Hey connie. Are you sure this quest will come back, or at least anytime soon? Don't they treat anniversary event quests like a once-off thing? I play pc so I have this quest permanently cause of mods. Im just curious whether they'll rotate this quest regularly, or whether it's gone seemingly forever

Another great tutorial Cons. I feel somewhat betrayed as a recent CritDraw convert. I guess now that I know the openings I can look at doing a TCS over 2 LvL3 draw attacks on downs. How would you build it different for TCS? swap FF and Kulv for 2pc Brachy for Agi secret and build in Tendi to replace the affinity from crit draw? or just stack on the Crit eye and suffer the damage? or would you just drop Frostcraft altogether and go ham with damage? footnote: I hope this quest comes back... Soon... suffering through more TZino or TElders is going to suck.

I would do the former, agi secret should help you reach better skills overall because brachy is quite skill efficient You can drop fc and run other skills to make up some of the loss, but its all quite matchup dependent iirc and im honestly not sure whats better

Comments for for the algorithm lol, but also, what's a good combo set for both crit draw and tcs without using the safi essence? I've been running everything velk beta and frostfang beta but i feel i dont have enough slots for the essentials :( (casual btw, and without any crit/vit decos)

Unfortunately FC is just pretty lacking in slots, you can use something like the damascus chest or anything with more of the essential skills, instead of FF, and you lose the KO but gain more slots

It's possible to have a set with velkhana essence, but without using a safi weapon, where you can have a mix style of both critical draw attacks and tcs (critical damage). The set I used has frostfang vambrace. The compromise in the build is you may not have any additional attack boosting skills if you choose to not include any. The set-up depends on what decorations you want to slot in your armour. I can't build for you, but I strongly recommend level 7 critical eye to start and have crit draw remain at level 2 (provided by the armour).

Cons I've been running this quest almost exclusively nowadays since everything wrapped up.. using this I've got it down to about 11mins. My goal is a sub 10 run and the closest I've got is 10:35. How do I shave off those last few second/minute For most opening I can only get lv2 charged slashes. Not always lv3. I'm using fatalis gs and 4pc gamma velk. Any suggestions i really wanna crack sub 10

I used same set/strategy and went from 23min > 18min > 11min > consistently sub 10min runs. I rarely used GS before but it was insanely easy to farm. I got decos I already had but it was fun haha

Its all about running in as soon as you see it coming, and then charging as early as possible

I dont have a single build that doesn't have mindseye, stun resist, guard up and guard five. I never run wex, crit boost, or crit eye. I hit what faces me and I trade shots so I never really use the stupid claw so no weak spots in my fights

You should not encourage anyone to start using GS on tempered f rajang especially when they're still new to the weapon. They'd be massacred for sure.haha And definitely not on a rajang which is fast and aggressive. Frostcraft is great, but positioning is something that need to be practiced.
