Nice guide, tried it for several hours now. The Wing part is kinda easy.....but I can't get the horn break. I just can't fight this Dragon, everything he does nearly one shots me even with full upgraded armor.

Slinger ammo + kinsect combo is new to me. Didn’t knew that they buffed kinsect damage by a lot. Are there any other weapons that got boosted by different type of slinger ammos? I know that different ammos has different damage, but to affect weapon? It’s super new to me even though I’ve reached mr 100+

i'd been struggling on the Fatalis SO much for SO long because i was trying to clear it pre-MR 100, stupid i know and it was driving me insane but i managed to finally clear it by roughly following your build and strat, so thank you for the guide!

i may be 3 years late, but you can use the ghilie mantel to load the cannon then switch to the rocksteady with the heavy artillary jewel so that the scream do not affect you

I hate this thing. I think it would've been fine if they gave us the usual 50 minutes, but that fact that it has the second highest health pool in the game on top of only giving us 30 minutes? Yeah, fuck that. Not to mention without elderseal it can buff its own attack and defense to absurd levels. I just don't get it... I mean once you learn the matchup, it's really not that bad! But the timer, I feel like that's what I'm really fighting whenever I take on AT Velkhana. Same thing with Fatalis. I hate it so much, and I'm super glad that in MH: Wilds there aren't going to be any more timers, because in MH: World they just used them for cheap, unsatisfying, artificial difficulty increases.

Sry for the rant... 3 fucking years and still havent beaten this bullshit fight. Solo? Nope, always getting perma stunned. Group? Nope, randoms and "experts" dying faster than the noob asking for help. I am so done with this fight... After 1300 hours in this game I am still not able to beat this shitty dps crap. I know, many players love dps checks. In my opinion its the worst mechanic ever in every video game. I love to take my time, playing tanky builds and wearing my opponent down in a long, good fight. I truly hate this "unga bunga, must reach 10.000 dmg in 20 seconds or monster is gonna one shot you". For me thats not fun, thats depressing. Again sry for the rant... Just had another 3 hour session after working 50 hours this week... I just want to enjoy my favourite game in the little spare time I have but with this thing... I just cant anymore.

So, only jsut got to Fatalis and came across this today and I'm curious - in your footage the fight seems to start with fatalis happily non-aggroed but in my assignment he's already fighting the Excitable A-Lister before I even get to the arena. The cannon opener still seems to work, but I'm curious if there's something I need to do so that Fatalis starts off neutral nd just sitting around.

years ago when he was first released i could never even get past alatreon let alone fatalis without resorting to cheats on pc, which really took the feeling of accomplishment away. now i play on console which actually helps me to work toward being a better hunter. was finally able to beat alatreon solo, and even managed a second kill solo as well. must say the feeling of hitting that last strike made me jump of my couch in excitement. the amount of hours of grinding to get to that point made it feel even better. i used to think id never beat him, im glad i proved myself wrong. FATALIS! YOUR NEXT!

man it sucks to find this video 4 years late put appropriate element on it depending on matchup (or just make 5 of that kinsect, one for each element) use element boost glaive (1.4x element) use dragon/bomb/piercing/thorn pod to give your kinsect power buff (1.5x raw, 3.5x element)

This is the kind of video I've been looking for! So many folks just say "cone bait him" I had no idea how far away I needed to be to bait it. Turns out I was *always* too close or too far.
