I watched this video years ago. You were the main reason I purchased my binding machine. I have not looked back since. I love comb binding. It is way cheaper getting your own materials instead of having them done for you. The price adds up quickly, especially with multiple children.

Thanx for tip to use laminator for front and back page. Bought yesterday used Ibico machine + 100 combs with 20 euros. And I already have laminator. My Brother laser-printer will be printing a lot ;)

Yes they take up too much space and we don't like having more than one subject in them so we have a lot of them. We organize by subject (math binder has subjects like multiplication, geometry-etc.) Each child has over 5 binders. This is soooo much more convenient. Thanks for sharing Trish! Can't wait till my machine arrives. I'm too excited to donate all these binders. We have a whole tall bookshelf full of them.

Thanks for the reminder. My older one is 5 so I am going to need to do a lot of these. :) I just bought a spiral binder a few months ago. What I'm wondering is there a way to cut the glued binding off of a book (neatly) so it can be spiral bound.

Hi I have a small person one that is okay but does not punch very good what is a good one that does it even ? i jus got one bind at staples and it came out perfectly something that will punch thought 5 mil lamination

You lost me at "you'll need a comb-binding machine";) I do only have one hs aged child though, so who knows, my little stack of loose papers may turn into a wild beast needing serious taming some day.
