At the Kitakami Hall they sell Kitakami Fried Noodles and it has a catch power poison level 2 for 900 pokebucks, so that might be a cheaper option.

One of the reasons why Breloom is the best for going against the three is it's one ability to heal when it's poisoned. So every time the trio tries to poison you you get healed automatically instead

Thanks for the strategy to help those who are trying to catch these! From hearing people struggling with catching them, I bought a bunch of ultra balls for my turn, but using a kingambit with thunder wave and false swipe for all 3 (had snarl for Fezandipiti in case I needed to lower Special attack, but didn't need it), and a tinkaton with baby-doll eyes to lower Okidogi's attack before switching in kingambit, I luckily was able to catch all 3 using around 10 ultra balls in about 15-20 minutes. Good luck to everyone catching these!

For specifically munkidori, you can false swipe down to 1hp, switch to kingambit and use thunderwave, munkidori has no moves to hit kingambit so free to throw balls

For Munkidori just paralyze it with Thunder Wave or Nuzzle and swap to Kingambit with False Swipe - Kingambit is immune to EVERY move Munkidori can make so all you gotta do is False Swipe it to 1 HP and throw any balls you want. No need for healing items, no need to repeat status. Kingambit is the EASY way. And i was doing this repeatedly just to catch 0 Att. IV Munkidori and i was using Luxury balls. Sometimes i captured him first ball, other times it took so long it struggled itself to death (happens) but alas i was using Luxury Balls not Dusk Balls and i think it's worth it. In fact with Kingambit strategy and enough patience you can try capturing him with rare balls. As for me i just wanted 0 att IV and i eventually got it so i am all happy now. For Fezandipiti just paralyze it and use false swipe then spam balls. Repeatedly using Spore when confused can be frustrating. To ease things up you can start with using Safeguard wich will prevent confusion on your side of the field while you can still paralyze Fezandipiti. I used Dragonite for that as it can learn both Thunder Wave and Safeguard. Okidogi is the only difficult one but you can work around it by having bulky steel type who can tank super power from it (or swap between steel and a fairy type to take less dmg). Once it lowers its own attack 5 times you can safely throw balls without worries. Just remember to paralyze it. And yes i prefer paralyzing it once over using spore over and over again every time it wakes up. You can of course cripple its attack using Intimidate, Charm, Feather Dance, etc but i didn't need to do it myself. Super power as a bonus lowers its defense too so your False swipe will be stronger and might require less uses so it kinda evens up time-wise. Just bait it to use Superpower by leading something weak to fighting - and don't use ghost types because it needs to hit you for its stats to be lowered. That is all i got for the tips for this guy. Luckily i didn't need any of it's IV's to be 0 so i kept the first one i got. As for Dusk Balls... There is better ball imo: Net Ball. Use Soak on any of these mythical pokemon and once they are 1 hp with status condition just spam Net Balls. They work better against water types and after soak - the target WILL be considered water type. You can catch any legend this way, at any time of the day and the effect of pokemon coming from Net Ball is really cool.

Caught all mine in apricorn balls w/ good natures. It took so long cause I would only use one ball and if it didn’t cap I soft reset. Worth it though, love okidogi so much. Okidogi in friend ball, monkidori in moon ball, and fezen in a love ball.

i caught all of mine in ultra balls using gallade with hypnosis and false swipe. the monkey gave me the most difficulty tbh, kept using foresight and sludge wave

I spent way too long getting the monkey and the bird into a moon ball and love ball, had to reset several times as I refused to waste like 3-4 balls that I have farmed for a long time, while the dog got the dusk ball that took no time at all xD i used everything you did here without even looking at the vid although with my gallade, and to work against the poison i used the reaper cloth looking item forgot the name of it but it stops both poison and their abilities, which helped allot! And for sandwiches you can also make the ultra fruit sandwich recipe i think it was called that also gives catch power poison 2, or use the noodles from the festival food stall!

Kingambit is literally the anti Munkidori, after 5 or 6 turns it just gave up and caught it easily. For Frenzidipiti, i used Own Tempo Tinkaton, Tinkatons has to have weak moves since Frenzidipiti is gonna raise your atks with swagger. Last but not least for okidogi, Gholdengo seems to be a good choice. his superpower won't be effective and its ability is never gonna activate cause gholdengo is also a steel type. iirc it has one dark type move but iron defense and potions will enough to save us.

Using Breloom with the Poison Heal ability makes it slower to reduce HP to 1, but much easier to keep your health topped up.

Some advice for anyone who hasnt caught the trio yet: Surprise trading "spam" pokemon will 50% chance of having a Master Ball, just collect those. I myself got about 14 of them before the DLC started. Only took about 5 mins to capture all of them

Like I said maybe not worth the money to do an ability swap but it may be a good ability to have if you happen to have it going in. We'll see I am about to start in on the fights.

Whelp, guess I should get around to building a Catcher Breloom for this. I am in the post-story for Teal Mask so I just have the "Loyal" Three to catch, as well as many other Pokemon to complete the Kitakami Pokedex. Most of these will be easy by just using evolution stones, but the others that evolve via trade I'll have to resort using the Tera Dens to do so. I don't mind of course, that's just easier to do. Either that or get them in Pokemon HOME and transfer them in. xP

Not on topic of the video, but the item finder mark has been fixed. You may have noticed that about half of the items you try to pick up (sparkles and even poke balls) will disappear. I let my Iron hands out and it found 4 fake sparkles and 3 that gave items, I checked it’s marks and it had it. We’ll have to wait for a data mine to know the odds, but it’s confirmed to work. I hope it works for you as well if anyone has read this.

“… catch rate 3 which is the lowest catch rate a Pokémon can have.” Fun fact of the day! One exception is sunny form cherrim in the initial version of Legends. It didn’t have a catch rate value at all when transformed. You had to either wait for night time during the battle or get that beautiful first update.

Got Monkidori in four moves (thunderwave and three false swipes) and my first pokeball, had a kingambit use thunderwave then falseswipe until it had 1hp none of monkidori's moves effected my kinggambit and I got it on my first throw (used a dive ball) it took less than 10seconds With Okidogi it's moves were not effective or didn't work at all was just down to getting it to stay in the ball unlike the first it didn't like the dive ball so I just kept throwing them until it did took about a minute had the dive balls not worked i'd have eventually switched to a timer ball the Fezandipiti took a bit longer but only to find as I was looking on the rock above it, in battle it healed itself a few times before I started throwing balls but I did get it on my second dive ball once I got its health down to orange

i did something similar but not exactly. i got my lvl 2 sandwich power from the fried noodle dish bought at kitakami festival for $900. way easier than making it lol. for monkidori - i used gallade and kingambit since monke cant actually damage kingambit at all. gallade just paralyzed monke with t-wave, then swapped to kingambit for SD/false swipe (mine was only like lvl 75 so i wanted it to go quicker). then it was just chucking balls. i caught monke after about 15 dive balls (i was matching colors). for fezandipiti - used gallade, para'd and then false swipe. used a full heal every time it confused me if i needed to attack. beat up did almost no damage since i was lvl 100. most annoying thing was roost if i was confused, cuz i would full heal then have to attack and hope it didnt try to confuse me again. that one definitely took me the longest, went thru 11 heal balls and then decided on timer balls since it also matched the colors, and it was maybe another 20 timer balls. i havent gone for doggo yet, but i plan to catch in a dusk ball so i'll be using gallade again and night time + sandwich should be easy enough.

Fezandipiti is definitely the hardest one to catch for some reason. It took me like 65 balls total (50 luxury, 15 timer) but Okidogi and Munkidori only took 20 combined

I chose beast balls w the sandwhiches I got monkey dori on 1 hp and sleeping and critical captured him first try. Fenzendipitty took 67 resets w remaking sandwhich and 1hp sleep. okidoki took 113 resets where somewhere after 60 or so I lost my patience and just would throw my ball hope for a crit and reset. In that time I got 3 critical captures but he broke out twice

This damn fezendipity, he kept flattering and swaggering me, till my mons all commited mass suicide😢 It took 60+ balls between ulta and timer balls to catch it, kept putting it to sleep and waking up directly, my breloom and victreebel were my sleepers and both died after hitting themselves in confusion so many times, and restaring again and again... after 30 mins, I caught it and started shouting at home... what's baffeling is Munkidory (5 balls) and Okidogi (7 balls) were super easy to catch seems the game was spiting me for catching them so easily prior. PS: totally forgot abt sandwich increasing rates🤦‍♂️

Only took me 20 minutes to catch all 3, Fezandipiti took 3 ultra balls, monkidori took 5 ultra balls and okaydogi took a bit more, 14 ultraballs, I just knocked them did to red and throw out ultraballs, didn't do anything special. There fairly easy to catch for legendaries

Caught all 3 earlier, the munkidori was hardest for me, took a while of spore false swipe and some dusk balls only to end up in ultra ball. Fezandipiti took like only 2 ultra balls since i needed to spore only twice and like several false swipes. Okidogi i think took like 10 balls. Ps anybody knows how to get rid of the self cleanse of breloom? Mine kept cleansing the poison from toxic orb thats kinda not helping the poison heal. Edit: didnt use any capture power food/ sandwhich Overall i think i didnt use more than 30 balls in total(combination of ultra and dusk balls)

Fezandipiti is the worst of the three because unless you keep it permanently asleep, it will Roost and undo all you "False Swipe" work by healing back to max.
