Working on getting them back in stock ASAP. I have all of the parts, just learning how to use my new pick & place.

I completely understand, it's the struggle of creating a really awesome piece of tech at a reasonable price. See also: Mike Chi at RetroTink :)

This was a super interesting video, Gary, and it seems relatively simple. I had no idea this was an issue with the Super Game Boy.

Yeah, many in the US had no idea, and honestly didn't notice. It's more the speed runners and such that noticed

I see what you did there with the background music, using a gameboy game's sound track.

Cool video! I had the old school grey brick Game Boy and I loved it! I used to play so much Super Mario Land 2, it might have been the first Game Boy game I ever beat actually. Cheers and rock on!

Dude, I got Bell's Palsy like 18 months ago. And it really is lasting. My left eye and sinuses don't seem to work properly anymore. I use eye drops daily now, and need to clean or clear my left eye of goop every day. It sucks so much.

@@seviren Nope, no issues before at all. I mean I have an astigmatism but my prescription was very weak for my glasses. Now, well I need both readers and general use and I've had my prescription changed a few times in a short period.

There are a thousand better and easier ways to play original GB games today. My preferred way -is- was my GP2X handheld game system from 2006. Now I use an RG350. My 54 year old eyes greatly appreciate it. Now there is a $25 emulation handheld device that can also output easily to a CRT (NTSC or PAL) TV. It can also do this with arcade games and a bunch of other retro game consoles.

That relies on ripped or Downloaded ROMs, if I want to play original physical cartridges it's this, the Game Boy Player for the GameCube and that's about it.
@tarstarkusz10 ай бұрын
@@RoXolid So long as the emulation is good, I don't really care about the ability to play physical cartridges. Most of my cartridges are put away anyway. I have a super Game Boy cartridge too, also put away. Plus, emulation allows you to save progress. But really, above all, it's the screens. The original screens were just horrible. I think it went well into the 2000s before there was any way to even have a backlight.

@@tarstarkusz But unless you're dumping your own ROMs it's not something I personally would do
@tarstarkusz10 ай бұрын
@@RoXolid Because guys who are either dead or retired really need to make sure I'm not secretly having fun without telling them. I wouldn't download a game released recently, but I have zero qualms about downloading games for long dead systems. Nobody has purchased a new GB cartridge in decades. Plus, even with the cartridges I physically own, it's just like 100 times faster to download it. This is an industry that targets children with their parent's credit card to pay real life money for a costume change in the games. My sympathy for the industry died a long time ago.

@tarstarkusz And that's fine for you but not something I'm willing to do. Copyright matters to me
