I can't seem to get a straight answer on this anywhere. Is the video resolution still 720p when using the composite ports? I guess same question for the NES version of this box.

I've been putting off buying an hdmi for my PS2 for years. I guess I figure that it wouldn't ever stop selling and I could just buy it whenever. I also still have my Xbox 360, so that was what I'd play whenever I wanted to feel nostalgic. But I finally decided to get one and I'm so glad I did. I had issues with the Levelhike on my Sony TV for some reason. I read other comments of people having issues too when they tried to play on their Sony TVs, so I guess maybe it's not compatible or it depends on the model or something. On my TV, a portion of the left side of the picture was showing up on the right side when I had it on 16:9. On 4:3, it worked somewhat better (it seemed pretty blurry still), but the controller was definitely delayed. Anyways, I thought that I might as well try it out on my Samsung TV just to see, and it worked much better with no issues. The controller felt more responsive and the picture quality didn't have that weird blur from before. There's a button on my remote to see the image quality and it was outputting at 720p. It wasn't perfect, definitely made me wish that it could at least hit 1080p, but it was so nice playing my PS2 again after 10 years. But maybe the Hyperkin hdmi might work for a Sony TV instead.

I agree. They are likely going to market the Switch 2 as an extension of the Switch & will still sell Switch systems and games, but at a slightly marked down price.

I haven't really been playing Switch much. I have been playing Gameboy mostly. Can't wait for Dragonyhm from Mod Retro to come. I have been playing Famicom as well. Ravens Gate is great. Waiting for Piopow to come from Limited Run Games. I think my next purchase will be Chantey from Mod Retro for Gameboy.

I had noticed this for the N64, so I had to double check for this and I'm glad that these trays are being made. I didn't really want to break off the tabs on the inside. And this way I can save some money when I start getting the Super Bomberman games that were never released in the US.

How did the scart adapter fit? I feel like mine doesnt really fit too firmly in there. Its a little wobbly and was wondering if i got a bad one

As others have mentionned, it tries to mimic the awesome ASCII PAD FT. They were made in basic colours but also one was themed SNK and another was themed Capcom (in the days when Capcom vs SNK (the game) was a thing)

in from 2024. just got a clear purple version and they did make it say that it's compatible with the switch. also they reworked the plastic packaging to have a little compartment for the charging cable behind the controller. no more rattling. though i do wish they updated the charging cable to type c.

100% agree with RC Pro AM being one of the best NES games. my brother, cousins, and I had some awesome memories playing that. Now, RC Cars, i've never used anything radio controlled like that. As a kid, my parents couldn't afford it, and i just wasn't ever like super interested in it. Maybe I can try one someday.
