What retrotink do anyone recommend for a Ps2 as well as for a Nintendo Wii ??

It's a lot better than the wired version in my experience. They improved the triggers, I've had no problems. It feels like an Xbox One controller. The original wired version I had one of the triggers just pop out and break but Retro Fighters is such a cool company they'll replace it without much of a fight so yeah, not much risk in giving this one a try. It's currently how I play my dreamcast along with the DC Digital modded system I use.

I'm not even buying Thousand Year Door at $60. The controversy with that is just extra. DKCR was never worth $60.

This thing is really giving me audio issues. I would not recommend this because it presents an audio-related compatibility issue with certain TVs that because of the adapter's size can't be solved with analog audio. With the sample rate hack on to mitigate delay I'm getting audio cutouts like every 30 seconds. Really annoying

Die hard Metroid fan here. I have been waiting what feels like a lifetime for this game. This game is literally the reason I purchased a Nintendo Switch. I own a Metroid prime 3 standee that I got from GameStop for reserving prime 3 back in 2007. To say that I am excited would be a huge understatement. I almost cried watching the trailer. Long live Metroid and rip to the great Gunpei Yokoi for giving us this gem of a series!

I grew up with 64 it has the least replay value these days due to new games being flat out better and the 2d games do have a lot of entry’s but you can play any 2d Mario besides 2 and feel like you’re getting a good Mario experience

I remember getting a Switch for Metroid Prime in 2019. I hope eventually Nintendo releases Metroid Prime 2 and 3 Remaster.

Might sound weird but I was never into the metroid prime series but I will buy it due to the collector growing in me I have all the other physical versions so to be a completionist of the cart series it's probably a go.

Kind of a bummer that none of these systems are able to get the sound right. Seems FPGA is the best that clone consoles can be, but the Analogue Super Nt is really expensive. Might be best to play on original hardware

Zelda 1. Dont get me wrong, i love the game. But its also very simple. If it wasnt sandboxy it wouldnt be enjoyable. I actually prefer zelda 2 if im gonna play an nes zelda game.

As per the criteria of limiting to just those three and saying which is overrated, it has to be Dr. Mario, it is a good puzzle game, but does not warrant the hype it gets. Columns is waaaay underrated, to the point that many people our age still have never heard of it.

Mega Man 1 its a great game.

I dont mind re-release games but at full price its like ehhhh but I can understand where the work for transfering to new hardware and upscaling the quality goes. That alone might be worth it to some for the ease of access currently. I wish the switch had a collectors choice or nintendo selects option for a price. I used to dislike those second prints but now considering the economy im all for it.

Or just wait a few months go eBay OfferUp Facebook Market whatever it will be half price. Just have to be patient just like that $70 Zelda game. Not saying that your suggestion is bad but most people will not go that route. In fact it will be more expensive to buy a Wii and the game pus some kind of HDMI adapter in order to play it on Modern TVs also batteries and hopefully the original owner didn't leave the old batteries in the wiimotes.

And you can play it with that greay waggle control and less levels. Go for it dude

Man it's freaking 2024 Nintendo is selling its games at this price since Switch's launch, at least in Europe. People need to get over it now.

I love Nintendo but the prices... I'd have way more games if Nintendo didn't keep the prices so ridiculously high. This game will not sell well at all.

I used to think mario 3 was overrated but ive come to love the game. Mario 64 was only fun when i was a kid. Even playing with a modern controller, the controls suck in mario 64. Going back to that game as an adult, its got no magic left in it. I feel that way about all the 3d mario games that i played as a kid. They show their age really badly. Hell, even odyssey i feel that way and i was late 20s when that game came out. 2d mario games, i will never be sick of em. If i had to pick a 2d mario game to be overrated, id say all stars. The physics are so wrong, and i dislike how they remade the music. Which is crazy, because snes music is like a drug to me.

None are overrated. I adored Columns on the Game Gear. Both NES versions of Tetris are excellent. Dr. Mario is beautifully challenging. I would say though that later versions of Tetris, where it purposefully goes through all seven tetrominos before repeating and lets you rotate pieces indefinitely (you can effectively pause the game with the square) made the game worse rather than better.

The Master System version is the best version of Columns, with Game Gear in second place: I should make a video preaching about this because most people don't realize the Genesis version is drastically worse -the arcade worse still.

I wouldn't consider any of them overrated if at all. Beside tetris, the latters are virtually insignificant with time.

Bough this a few months ago, it worked perfectly fine with series x elite two until I updated and won’t sync to my Nintendo switch now more and the software said “unknown software.” I owe Two wing mag for my Xbox 360 and they work fine with their updated except for my wingman xe2 . 😢😢😢

I own Columns and Dr. Mario, but I haven't played them yet. Can't go wrong with Tetris. One of my favorite games in this genre is Hexic. I used to play it on my Windows Phone. Hexic HD appears to be free on Xbox.

I was blown away by super mario 64 when it came out. I love it. That being said, I agree with you Gary. And I think if I didn't play any of these growing up and played them now, I wouldnt think much of sm64.

Probably my favorite game that stayed in Japan is Theatrhythm Dragon Quest. I bought a Japanese 3DS just to play it. Thinking on it, it's nice that the list is growing shorter every year as more games are announced. Maybe there's hope yet for Mother 3.
