Can I just add, this would be a perfect opportunity for Ciro to add a whip (connection) for an inside the saddle bag light. Stick on or design something onto the hinge screws. Good video.

I added these to my bike while in Sturgis, they really increase visibility from the side. Highly recommend these along with amber fork lights

I have a mix of custom dynamics and ciro. Headlight snd bezel, ciro. But all the back and side lighting custom dynamics. The ciro rear lighting didn’t seem as quality as the front stuff. Either way, visibility is king.

Ciro installation. The epitome of simplicity. Just a reminder if reinstalling your saddlebags and you only have stock safety bolts. DO NOT forget the washer. I recently did just that and you can guess what happened. RickRak safety bolts sound like a great idea.

I have those on my Road Glide. They are awesome. If you have other Ciro lights, spend the extra money for the splitter connectors.

good installation video guys... I have the Ciro Plasma rods on the back of my bike,, and I love them... very bright.. and look great from behind...This might be my next CIRO purchase... thanks Ryan and Lurch... DAWG from the show me state.. I also have the LED turn signals which are bright and very cool...I have to agree with other comments that removing the bags to clean would be a pain. I would think a quick disconnect at the bags without having to remove the seat and readjusting the wiring mess each time would be useful and helpful...

Ryan, after complete installation, would I have to remove the seat and unplug the connections in order to place saddlebags away from bike or do you offer connectors I can attach outside the bags? Thanks, awesome job you guys do! Bill
@Itsme-mx5tl3 жыл бұрын
I drilled and install and deutsch connectors towards the bottom of my saddle bags. Easy to connect and disconnect when you wash the bike with the bags off
@IronCavalier3 жыл бұрын
You could probably use a step bit, too. ? We drill holes in the roofs of vehicles to mount two-way antennas and use tape to keep it from scratching the paint or, at least, to a minimum.

Ryan, I love your videos -- lots of great info and I appreicate you sharing it--I wrench my bikes 99% of the time----Question -- would you know the socket size needed to remove the ACR (automatic compression release) Solenoid for a 2019 CVO SG. (the newer HD have a different size than a older bikes)--HD sells the cut away long/deep socket, they are asking $92.00 for it, I`m thinking I can make one up myself. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks and be safe.

Keep in mind if you tuck the wiring and plug under seat you have to always take off the seat to remove the bags, whether you are just cleaning or need to work or check the back end. Not convenient 😒
@williamh54053 жыл бұрын
I agree Jon. I asked two days ago if they would offer connectors so bag can be removed without seat. No response. Bought lots of item from LAB. Usually receive pretty timely responses.
@JcChavos3 жыл бұрын
@@williamh5405 what I ended up doing is silicone the back side of both plugs, and zip tied the connector to the frame under the side cover. This way it could be unplugged before removing the bags

It is crazy that you have to remove your seat to remove that saddlebag now. Not sure why Ciro…. or anyone else, doesn’t place a quick disconnect just outside the bag. That could then have the extension that goes to the wiring under the seat.
@JHV1663 жыл бұрын
Nice looking, but I have so much LED lighting (entire bike, Headlights, Taillights, Brake Light, Turn Signals, Aux. Lights, etc) that there is LITERALLY NO MORE ROOM for another LED Accessory. And Drilling holes in my bags and running 4 feet of wire around the perimeter seems like asking for problems. (If you use your bags for more than sandwiches LOL).

Great video as always Ryan but i have two questions for you. First who puts out the tether that Lurch as in his saddlebag? Second question I know Lurch is tall but did he switch out his seat to a tall man seat?
@RyanUrlacher2 жыл бұрын
The tether is made by Innovative Storage Solutions. We carry them in our store: bit.ly/3Awx9dL The seat Lurch runs is a Mustang Super Tour seat. It sets him back and down in the saddle as compared to the stock HD seat. Ride safe & Ride Often! Check out this KZbin Channel as we have a ton of free videos for you!
