I'm having an issue. I bought the game from Steam and have a bunch of Steam Workshop mods in ATS. However, when I put external mods, they don't show up in mod manager. LMK if you have any ideas on how to fix this! (Other modifications like adding accounts also don't work...)

steam workshop mods don't go into the same "mod" folder as external mods would. external mods have to be put in the mod directory, the game puts your mod directory in your C: documents/ATS directory. Just unrar/zip whatever into that mod directory itself then you are good. If your C drive has very little space, you will need to look into making a symbolic link so you can put mods in a different directory, while the game still thinks they are in the C drive. Just google how to make a symbolic link, should work fine. If your C drive has loads of space, then you have nothing to worry about. If you are doing all this and it still isn't working, then sorry I have no idea.

the mods wont show up in the game. i had to make my own mod folder but it should still work. i extracted the mod to become a .scs and it just wont work.

i downloaded a mod from the workshop, a peterbilt 351, and after i downloaded another mod witch was a peterbilt 351, it was kinda the same truck but not the same mod but the thing is, i can't find the 351, i went to the mod dealer and i didn't have it. can someone explain why?, i have a theory that it they are both a retexture of the same truck and idk if i should remove the one i had earlier or the one i want now.
