I pruned the sapling twice in 8 months time and both times I had 2 leaves coming out of which dropped and only one survived. But the trunk is really beautiful and thick.

In training pot you can use farming soil mixed with equal amount of sand. But in bonsai pot don't use normal soil in bonsai pot
