That is cool. I have been doing this but when I import it back in I vectorize it in 2 colors and make the letter color transparent or hide it. That way you don't have to worry about pixels. I love how there so many ways to do things.

Text on a high contrast background like that should be pretty easy for the vectorizer tool to convert to vector and then do a cleaner job at removing the text by color 🤔. Even better would be a feature allowing us to use any vector or text box as an image mask 😃

Great tip. Isn’t it better to select a color of the text that is being knocked out a color closer to the underlying image? That way you don’t have the issues with the color?

Million Dollar Question for Graham!! When we scale up a photo from the Kittl library as you did at 1:35, does it downgrade it? (Coming from Photoshop, this is what I would expect unless it is a smart object). I find in most, if not all cases, they are smaller than my artboard dimensions and not sure why that is. Are they all sourced at 1080p max?

Great question! Those photos are extremely high resolution. They only come onto the artboard looking small because it is reacting to the size of your artboard. Those photos have a max resolution of about 4069 to about 5200 px (give or take). Depends on the aspect of the photo. Hope this helps!

Hey there! With your image uploaded back into Kittl, you go over to the right panel, click on the Adjustments panel, and there you will see a section that says Remove Color. Select the color dot, and with the color dropper tool, select the color in your picture you want to remove, then you can use the slider to move it up and remove the color.
