amazing a half inch of mercury change (barometric pressure)would b alot which is the equivalent in a water column of aprox. 14" so the fish moving shallow to deep the pressure that they would incur would b multi fold compared to a few points of barometric . one atmosphere is 33 feet so at 33 feet deep the eqiv barometric pressure would b 60 inches of mercury
