What year is this? I ask because I have a 2009 street glide and I took off the bolts you mentioned and something around the headlight is holding it down.

I am having a hard time getting the bolts back in on both sides. The upper bolts. They seem to be screwing into nothing. I believe everything is lined up correctly, and I can get the bottom 2 in, but the other 2 just slide all the way in and never screw into anything that will hold them in. Any idea what the problem is?
