Thank you so much for this wonderful video, I actually bought a set of round Brutfuner 120 coloured pencils on Amazon AU, and was so excited ( I am 76 yrs old and used to paint in acrylics, but when We were locked down for Covid here in Melbourne, Australia, I discovered 'Adult Colouring' on KZbin) so I haven't been colouring for very long, and have mainly stuck to Mandalas, which I love. Anyway I got straight on here to look for swatch charts for the Brutfuner's and to my dismay my round set, with the same pretty floral painted cardboard cover as the 120 sets on KZbin, are not in the same order and dont have the same numbers !!! I just couldn't work it out, so after hours and hours I have found you and now know how to swatch them. So relieved, I was so upset and now the relief is FANTASTIC. God bless you for taking so much time, in detail, to help people like me, finally get a grip with these swatches, lol.😍

Elise, your comment here made me so happy! 🥰 I am so very glad that this video was helpful to you. Since I first created this video, I have since completed that one swatch book and have moved onto a 2nd book for more swatching! It's so fun and therapeutic to me. BTW you love mandalas?? If you email me (snickerdoodlingllc@gmail.com) I will drop you a freebie page from my next mandala book that I hope will be published in November! But don't feel obligated - only if you're interested. I hope you have a great day (er...night??) my sweet friend. And thank you so much for stopping by my little channel to watch! I truly appreciate you! 💖💖💖

I really like what you did with the swatches! I have been meaning to make my own (no computer or printer) but I didn't know where to start. Once again you pulled me through and the number idea is genius. I don't really scramble through anymore, I have a pencil case now! Thanks again for your help. Now....what was I looking for in the first place? Jeeeeez. So much to learn, videos to watch, and now more fancy supplies. Fancy paper I am skipping that freaky eraser in order to avoid mouse holes in the paper and a big supply of batteries. Off I go before my phone catches on fire.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this swatching video, Lee Anne! I've since added a LOT to my little swatch book. It's so fun, and the best part is you can rearrange the colors in any order that makes sense to you - not how the box ordered the pencils, etc. Pencil cases.... I need one or two more now LOL!!! And you're cracking me up about the freaky eraser! Thanks for always watching and sharing your feedback. I wish you so much happiness and creativity in 2024, Lee Anne! 💗

Putting my prisma color in color family changed my life, lol, i really had no idea how much it would help and how much it would improve the cohesiveness of my page❤

Thank you, you help me a lot with heavy and light pressure of pencils. I prefer round swatches, too. For circles, I use the cap of a lipstick and a waterproof stamp pad (like ranger arhival small pad) or make your own with a blanc pad and whiteboard ink.

Hi, Sofia! I am so glad you found this video o be helpful to you. I love the idea of using an inkpad to make the circles. what a time saving idea! I can't wait to try this. I really appreciate you stopping by my little channel. Thank you so very much! 💖💖💖

You"be simplified color charts extremely thoroughly. Thanks so very much. No more spending money when making charts is now so easy. Circles are seem much better choices than a box or a rectangle. To me anyway.

Nancy, I'm so excited that you found this tutorial to be helpful! I agree- circles are soooo much easier to color that blocky squares or rectangles. If you try this, please tag me so I can see what your journal looks like! Thanks for always being here and watching, sweet friend! 💖💖💖

Oh I'm so glad you found this video helpful, Vivian! My little book is filling up, and I probably should do an update so y'all can see. I love the numbering system, too. I can't take credit for that, but think it's a genius idea. Please keep me updated on how this goes for you! 💖💖💖

I Really like your idea. I can get a mixed media book at Walmart. I also think the circles look more pleasing than squares, for Me. Thanks very much Kim for another helpful video!🥰🙋

I will be doing a swatch journal for sure! I also label and tape my labels, but only if they are not numbered already. That may change if i want better color grouping. We shall see. Fun video. Thanks for all the good tips😊

I can’t wait to see how you do your journal, Karry! I’m envisioning mid-century modern line art somewhere in there…. I know it will be amazing. And yes! Pencil numbering has been a game-changer for me. Thanks for stopping by and watching. Enjoy your day, sweet friend! 💖💖💖

Great video Kim!! There’s nothing I love more than organizing my art supplies and charting my pencils 😊. I love the idea of cross referencing your pencils with numbers. Just may have to do this for my polys! Thank you also for the shoutout, my friend ❤

I was laughing at how much I botched my explanation of how I numbered my polys. I honestly couldn't remember in the moment. Whoops!! And you are sooooo welcome! Your video was amazing, and I felt like others would enjoy it as well. Enjoy your day & thanks for being such a sweet friend, Nicola! 💖💖💖

Had a chuckle at God's team!! 😂 I tried to make my own swatch charts, but found I'm not organized enough and didn't like the look of them... Your handwriting is beautiful! 😍 Doing 0 with a slash makes it easy to distinguish from an O. 👍 I ended up getting swatch books from Amazon. That was much easier for me!! 🤣😂

Oh I hear you! I have that one swatch journal I featured in the video and it’s been amazing (I still love it). But my black widow pencils kind of outgrew it. I have toyed with designing a swatch journal book for people. But might have to reconsider…. Thanks for always watching, dear Karen! 💖💖💖
