I had problems with QCMA (NSIS Error Error Launching Installer) but this video saved me. This method upgraded the PS Vita in 3.65 tho, not in 3.60, but it's fine since Henkaku is compatible with this version. Many thanks! I'll be able to finish my translation of the strategy menu of Tales of Innocence R and add screens now (I hope).

Yes, the DNS server occasionally goes down for some reason. You can still update your VITA manually by using QCMA

Oh, I misunderstood. I thought you had proceeded with the 3.70 firmware update. Occasionally the DNS server will go down for maintenance. You can still manually update your PS Vita using QCMA. It does take a bit more time though.

Unfortunately, I think the PS TV is slightly different. You have to download the 3.60 update file and use a USB stick to update the PS TV manually. I've never tested this DNS method with the PS TV. It could work, I'm just not 100% positive.

Unfortunately, you're screwed because there is no way to downgrade firmware versions on the Vita. My advice would be to sell the Vita and buy one with firmware 3.60 on it or lower.

Are you on a firmware above 3.60? If so, this will not work for you. This only works if you are below 3.60 firmware.

I know this tutorail was made more than a year ago but just though to ask. I heard that henkaku is now compatible with 3.68 how can i check if it's compatible with 3.69? Just asking bc I just bought a vita n it have 3.69 n I wanted to use sd2vita as sd storage memory for downloading more games

There is no exploit for 3.69. The loophole that H-encore used for 3.67/3.68 has been patched.

+Arsanto Sidohutomo the DNS server could be down. If it is down, I suggest using QCMA to manually update to 3.60. I don't have a tutorial on that unfortunately

Hi there.. I just got a Vita after recently getting back into my handheld plays.. it running 3.18 and just wondered does this system still hold true today - to update.. as last thing I want is to update to higher firmware.. any help suggestions,very welcome

The Vita is a good system. Hacking it though, makes it a much better portable console! I highly suggest giving HenKaku a go!
