How to: Easy Spiral Curl Sisterlocks - Tutorial💁🏽‍♀️

Demonstration of how easy it is to spiral Curl Sisterlocks. #SISTERLOCKS Thank you for watching this video. Your presence online was heartfelt.
After sitting under the hooded dryer for one hour, I kept the perm rods in for two more days to completely dry my locs. Due to the mid-back length of my Sisterlocks, I needed to keep the rollers in for a longer period. I wanted the locs to air dry. For example, I roller set on Friday and sat under the dryer. I kept the rollers in on Saturday and removed them on Sunday night. Usually, I do not use the hooded dryer at all. I just allow the locs to air dry for two to three days.
Rolling your locs do not have to be perfect.
For looser curls, take your finger and pull through each curl for a fuller look.

I love your comment, and thank you for your sweet compliment. After washing, I add leave in conditioner and olive oil or coconut oil. I am good for at least a week or two. I also pull the curls back to wear a headband or a ponytail. Sometimes, I pull my finger through each curl to add volume. The curls gradually drop as shown in this video ten days later. Hey, your hair is beautiful and looks so healthy! Can I ask what size your partings are? Are they 1/8th or 1/4th of an inch? Or were your partings measured in millimetres/ mm?

Good question! 😃 Thank you for your compliment. I vaguely remember the loctician mentioning millimeters. My Sisterlocks are smaller around my temple area, sides, and nape. I also have medium sizes in the back of my head. I hope this helps. Are you considering SL?

@@zinaunlimited Technically, I want microlocs so I can install them myself. For over a year now I've seriously wanted them but I've dreamt about getting locs going back many more years. As we speak, I'm redoing my grid (the last 3 people who did my other grids did a poor job, unfortunately). I cannot figure out what size to do. I want a balance between as small as possible but as healthy as possible and your hair seems to embody that so wonderfully! I wish I could just go to your location! Sadly, that's out of the question because of location, so right now I'm in hair limbo wondering how I'm going to attend Church like this 🫣😅😭
