I will definitely admit it got more challenging as my hair got longer. They did hold as long and wasn't as feathery looking. I suggest "layers" to your hair to keep up that look up, especially for any curls

Thank you ! N that's interesting cuz I was wondering if mines would have even stay curled. With showering n tying it up it lasted a good week. I definitely noticed it didn't last as long as when my hair was shorter. But my goodness yours are gorge.

Nice! Thanks for the tip to twist along the way. I've tried before without and it didn't curl at the root. How long did your curls last?

No problem! Glad I could help. When my locs were shorter, they kept a nice curl for awhile, but since being longer they only seem to do good for maybe 2-3days, but good thing it's a quick style to do

Somehow Im running out of space on my headband, and still have a-lot of hair left thats not wrapped around

Hey💕 I suggest making sure hair is damp enough to be manipulated, maybe smaller sections of hair if your locs are thicker, and if u used a bigger headband, try a smaller one or vice versa

Also if it doesn't add too much tension on your head, you can twist a bit tighter n push previous twist back to create more space as you go along

Weird question what if you don’t have a head band what would you substitute it with? Could I just use the hair tie?

No worries, not weird at all ! Great question. U can definitely just use the hair tie, your curls will probably be a bit more tighter cuz of the extra wrapping you'd have to do since it's smaller but I see no problem. it'll still turn out cute. If u have multiple hair ties, even better to make up for no headband.

How long did it take to dry? And did you use a blow dryer or air dry?

It could take a day 1/2 sometimes more for longer locs especially if u use a lot of water like I did, n I let it air dry. When my locs were shorter, they were ready overnight.

it can if u wrap too tightly, so just be mindful of not pulling the hair too tightly around the band
