It was very smart to make your steak outside. Hamburger can spread grease all over the kitchen, so you saved a lot of extra cleanup. Cumin is delicious on beef and pork. I've seen ground pork and ground beef mixed together at stores in the US but it is rare. It's usually labeled meatloaf mix and sometimes has ground veal too or in place of hamburger. Mixing the two meats though does make the best meatloafs, meatballs and Hungarian stuffed peppers. I will have to try this hamburg steak someday, it reminds me of a cross between meatloaf and Salisbury Steak.
