Dank Frank! Werken in lagen is mede om die reden inderdaad bijzonder prettig vind ik. Ook het lokaal 'blenden' van waar je het effect wep en niet wilt hebben is vaak wel praktisch. Benieuwd naar je resultaten!

Excellent tutorial, thank you! I'm just wondering why you export your MW files as TIFFs before stacking them because I understand Sequator can handle RAW files.

Thanks! Sequator can indeed handle RAWs and some would say that they retain more detail. In my experience I get a more consistent workflow though if I do a basic WB change, etc. first and work with the tiffs. Haven't noticed any significant data loss there. But I'd advice to try both and see what works best for you!

Thanks! The orange on the horizon is definately lightpollution. The whole reddish glow in the sky shots is from my astro modified camera, which is more sensitive to red than a stock camera. Not sure about the settings but probably a stack of 10 sets foreground iso 800, f4, 2 minutes. Foreground probably 2-4 minutes on f4, iso 1600-3200-ish.

Until then as I'm not a photoshop or lightroom user and not overly tech savvy, I'll continue with Canon DPP4 to edit before stacking in sequator and then gimp to combine with any light painted foreground images i take of the same scene. My profile photo is my latest from 27 April, 22x10sec, f2, iso 3200 sky, and 12x10sec, f6.3, iso 400 light painted house & immediate foreground and 2x30sec, f6.3, iso 400 low level lighting of the background trees all with a eos 200d and Tokina 14-20mm f2 lens

@@user-gu3ie Graag gedaan! Vanuit Utrecht is het inderdaad lastig qua lichtvervuiling. Ik rijd meestal even naar bijvoorbeeld de Veluwe. Op de website lightpollutionmap.info kun je snel checken waar er in jouw buurt donkere regio's zijn.
