That motivated light with the graduated filter is insane. I’m subbing that’s a quality tip I’ve been editing in Lightroom for a long time and never though of that

Thanks a lot for this video ! It was actually quite helpful compared to a lot of other videos because you were not tying to hide any settings while showing your workflow.

Amazing work and I am truly surprised with the clarity of the vehicle without ever increasing the clarity in Lightroom, which I think I rely on too heavily. These are the types of tools that I am looking to acquire to better my editing skills. I'm self taught with LR and PS and am always looking for better ways to utilize them both. PS was a real PITA to learn and I still feel like I know very little compared to what is out there. Watching and practicing as many tutorials as possible. How did you learn to use both of these programs?

Nice! so do you use a tripod? or just very still as you turn the filter?
@TheCarCreative2 жыл бұрын
Tripod is definitely best case but I have done it handheld and used photoshop to align the photos in post 🙌🏼 can be done!
@stuartmooreis4 жыл бұрын
I reckon this video could be half the length if you started with a properly exposed image in the first place. Just saying.
@TheCarCreative4 жыл бұрын
Fair point! KZbin rewards creators for having longer videos though. Hope you enjoyed it regardless of the length. Cheers.

What's the difference between this method and HDR method by simply taking 3 photos and merging them to have a high dynamic range?
@TheCarCreative4 жыл бұрын
Jiggah Pherf Good question! HDR is for what you just said, high dynamic range. Circular Polarizers are used to cut reflection off the the car to create a cleaner image. Similar technique of multiple exposures but different desired result in the end. 🤙🏼 Thanks for watching!

Curious, why did you use that black mask with something else on it? Wouldn't that come through when you start to touch things up?
@TheCarCreative4 жыл бұрын
Ryan Peek hmm. Good question. Which section are you referring too? It’s been a while since I made this... 🤔
@rpeek134 жыл бұрын
@@TheCarCreative it looks like the white layer has a black ink design on it? Lol maybe I'm just confused. I'm a super rookie with LR/photoshop
@TheCarCreative4 жыл бұрын
Are you referring to the mask inside the panel area? If there is a white mask with black shapes that’s just showing what I am effecting on the photo itself, it’s more of a reference point if that makes sense? I get it though photoshop is quite confusing.
@rpeek134 жыл бұрын
@@TheCarCreative ah ok that makes sense

How did you bring the file back into lightroom??
@TheCarCreative4 жыл бұрын
For me, I just got CMD+S and it saves into the same folder it pulled from. Then Lightroom automatically pulls that file into the editing folder.

The Car Creative wasn’t sure if there was a fancy way of doing it. As default it wanted to be saved as a .TIF file...is that cool or u use another format?? Thanks for the quick reply 😁👍🏿
