i dont have a option to mesh to Brep any answers?

You may have to turn off your “capture design history”. The option for that conversion is only available when “capture design history” is off. Then then option will appear.

I have figured it out so you right click your model then go to mesh then modify then go down to convert mesh should be good. New stuff due to a update lol ❤️❤️

Do not use open to load a mesh file. Use Insert - Insert mesh, then the ratio is correct.

Great tip! Yeah, there are a few things I’d add to this video now. Sometimes the surfaces that appear coplaner are not really coplaner, so by default I extrude both directions when I engrave a name. Thanks for watching and thanks for the tip! 😃

I printed this, and I added the little clip using tinkercad, but I couldn't for the life of me work out how to get the names to recess using that tool. Nonetheless, solving it.... ha! more like Impossible and Hard... there is no easy here!

I’m not a tinkercad user, or I’d help with the names. I learned on solidworks and proE. Then used FreeCAD, now I’m getting comfortable with fusion360. I really recommend fusion360 as a good free tool. Is tinkercad your preferred tool?

Also, yeah, “easy” is quite difficult and I’ve yet to solve “hard”. I’ve heard a few tips for the hard side, which only has 1 solution. Haven’t googled the solution yet though!

@@LeisureLuke I couldn't Google. I think it's called cheating 😂 Tinker CAD isn't my preferred tool, just the first i came across. In fact it was your channel that made it look so easy. I've just been printing other people's stuff since i got this printer. I'll check out Fusion 360. Just looks daunting. Maybe that's a video idea for you? Beginner's guide to Fusion?

If you’re learning from scratch anyway, fusion is a better tool. I took a “how to make a stamp for beginners” in fusion 360 tutorial. It was brilliant. I could do a tutorial for fun stuff to 3D print specifically. Threaded nuts & bolts, springs, that’s a good idea! I like it!
