I would like to point out a few things. - If you're new to editing and you're trying to learn, I recommend learning *After Effects* instead of *Premiere Pro* . Premiere pro definitely has a lot of limits. - I tried to explain every detail in this tutorial so I avoided adding flashy effects to make things easier to understand. - This is not a "How to use Premiere Pro" tutorial so I just explained the things that are necessary. If there are some things that you would like to learn more about, and it is not mentioned in the video, you can just try searching it in google or youtube. - I might make another *velocity tutorial* with some tricks that made my life easier. - If you added twixtor to your clip and you can see some frame blending but its still pretty laggy, your clip is probably the problem. Make sure that you're recording high fps clips. - That's it. Happy Holidays Everyone!

I learned how to time remap in After Effects and while I agree there is more you can do, I have had TERRIBLE issues with the playback viewer in After Effects (on a $2000 editing laptop). I will view my clips and only be able to view a few seconds at a time, and I am not even sure if the playback is distorted or accurate so I have to play it a few times to actually see my work. This is where premier pro can come in handy, I can time remap here (no distortions in playback, very simple to do), then go back to After Effects for everything else.

I have a tip for you, instead of using twixtor as smoothing the video in slowdown, just right click on the video and click where it says time interpolation and then choose optical flow/frame blending (optical blow is better btw).

change your fps settings to either 59.94 / 29.97 / 23.976. If your fps is a whole number (60, 30, 24), twixtor doesn't work for some reason 4:41
