TIP : Pess CTRL close to the edit points and the arrow will turn into YELLOW length adustment tool, this helps you to fine tune your cut without leaving any gap between the two footages.

My tips. 1. Create shortcut for "Add edit" and quickly apply cuts to a video. I mapped E and Shit + E to this. 2. Create shortcut for "move playhead to mouse position". Instant improvement to editing speed. I use the Z key for this. 3. I have a blank folder created with the project files and blank folders. I just copy it to the project folder to save time. 4. If you have an effect heavy section, or if you stack lots of vidoes on each other and your computer lags, you can render that portion to play back in real time. I mapped Shift + Enter for this. 5. To move clips precisely by specific frames, use Alt + Arrow, Shift + Alt + Arrows (5 frames), or use the timecode 6. If for some reason you can't apply an effect to a video, nest the footage 7. Use pancake editing when you're working with a lot of footage + broll 8. You can set markers to move with ripple delete or not.. very useful 9. You can export markers with timestamps from the file menu. Very useful for adding timestamps for long videos. 10. When working with a lot of layers, take your pointers to the track info section, then shift + scroll to squeeze all tracks. More info in less space. 11. Learn both single pass and multi pass editing and edit the way you prefer. 12. You can use your source monitor as a second screen. Very useful for adding broll. 13. Premier Pro also has something called a referece monitor. Very useful in certain situations. 14. You can add guides at certain pixels or even percentages of the screen. Very handy to line up stuff. 15. Instead of adding an effect to all your clips individually, you can select all the clips of a certain color and just drag the effect once to apply it to all the clips. Look for this in selection options. 16. A** saving instead of time saving -> Always duplicate your sequence before making major edits or doing rework. Thank me later. 17. You can open multiple projects in Premier at the same time to copy assets back and forth. Much faster than closing one and opening another. 18. If you work on a lot of related projects (think editing web series), then learn to use productions. 19. You can export all your created presets. Similarly, you can also import presets created by other folks and import them in your Premier project. You don't need to create everything from scratch. 20. If you work with compressed footage like MP4, then set the previews in your timeline to ProRes 422LT to get a smooth playback. 21. Make sure to render with CUDA and use single pass render for super fast renders. Multi-pass uses software encoding which will take 3 to 5 times more time. 22. You should double check your entire video before you upload, but no need to export your entire video to do that. Just render the video on your timeline, watch in full quality and make changes if needed. 23. If you add the transform effect instead of animating position directly, you can add motion blur to your clips. 24. You can set custom thumbnails for your footage in the source media panel. Very useful for large projects. 25. When cutting long footage for broll and other stuff, you can create sub-clips instead of making actual cuts. Very useful. 26. Ab aur kitni tips chahiye?
