Thank you soooo much for this Alecia. I currently have a retired show horse who I feel I have to constantly niggle at with my leg to keep him forward. So helpful thank you.

Super explanation Alicia. Clear and concise. I did this with my gelding to sharpen him at the canter LOL he didn’t know what hit him. He transitioned like a rocket. The next time I asked there was no question about him knowing I wanted a canter. No nagging leg!! Thank you.

Just had this Convo this morning. Gorgeous day, he was not focused as we rode in the outdoor which is lovely. However, gators, 4 wheelers, pasture horses and well you see where this is going. I had to be quick & concise with my asks. He was a good boy & the morning was beautiful.

I need to really work on this .After injuries and time off my horse hasn’t got back the same impulsiveness and I’m finding I end up in a legs on battle most of the time .I’m going to make it my project for working on this week because currently It’s me doing more work than him .

A great video that would help you see the “electric legs” in practice would be the “flap like a duck” YT - kzbin.info/www/bejne/jp-wdoiNr8Sqh9k try watching this video and tell me if you still are not sure how to put it into practice
