Oh my goodness beautiful lady… Always exquisite content my advice I always give myself is what story I want to tell when I step out the door. Especially as a scientist and a woman of color it’s important to play up color when you go into meetings example red being one of authority ...one that demands respect... those kind of things I think about and it works. So yes in addition to all of your tips I think also just knowing what story you want to convey is important. And making sure that your style... if it’s sophisticated and classy that your personality represents that... the last thing you want is to be dressed up to the nine and your behavior and attitude is contradictory all of that plays into fashion as well Superb video

This is so spot on! I've found that when I feel only half enthusiastic about a item I'm trying on I wont wear it and it just sits there. If it makes me feel like a million bucks and fits in all the right places , doesn't have to be plucked at while wearing it then I get its moneys worth out of it. I've walked away from lots of pieces and saved lots of money from not buying things I'm not 100 % about.
