Also, wearing clothes that fits you properly and is your correct size...I love the white dress you wore with the 'wing' in the back, but I thought the navy dress was the most expensive.
@TheChicMaven3 жыл бұрын
yes absolutely you have to get the right size. Thank you
@le.13873 жыл бұрын
and buying your correct size will save you so much more money in the long run. I know I can squeeze into a size L but a size XL looks the best on me and I'm more likely to reach out for that piece over the size L where I'll most likely be adjusting myself for the rest of the day.

Great tips. I was fortunate to have my mother actually share most of this stuff with me growing up. The best tip you gave to me today was switching the buttons. I have refused to purchase numerous coats and blazers in the store because of the cheap buttons. It never dawned on me to just buy some new buttons!!

I used to hate being petite but once I figured out how to dress my body type I’ve grown to love my body. In addition to watching other petite women such as yourself. ♥️ and I had no CLUE Zappos had clothes! Congrats on the sponsorship!

Everybody “wants” to be small with a coke shape not realizing nobody makes clothes for us bc overweight is the norm now. I’d just like some jeans that fit my legs/butt and waist 😭
@reneep3333 жыл бұрын
@@tgtgtgtgtgtgtg have you tried AG (Adriano Goldschmied) Jeans? I have wider hips but a narrow waist, and they fit me with no waist gap! I recently discovered them and wish I had known about them sooner! The price is on the higher end though.
@cynthiahoyi39253 жыл бұрын
@AlwayzShey I agree! It’s definitely always about knowing how to dress your body. I see a lot of plus size women who just absolutely Look amazing because they know how to dress for their bodies, VS the slim/thin people. Kristen is absolutely gorgeous and her fashion sense is amazing, but I wouldn’t call her “petite”, as she mentioned in her get to know me video that she’s almost 5ft 8, and people who are petite are 5’3 and under. You can be plus size and still petite. ❤️❤️

Wow 2 videos in one week! This was great and I loved how you stated we should aim to look put together not expensive! So many great tips especially the buttons. My Grandmom (she was a seamstress) used to say everyone well dressed woman needs a tailor and a cobbler. Also thanks for introducing me to Alix NYC! I love so many of their pieces that are moderately priced. And yes to plenty of the model walk🔥

Hey side note… can you do a video on your top niche fragrances 😀. So I thought the first dress was the most expensive. Just from my viewpoint, the fabric itself , the color and style of the dress made it look more expensive. I’m a seamstress, so I totally agree that the fabric choice can definitely make the garment look more expensive or not. Also, I’ve realized that it’s not always how much you spend on an outfit , it’s how you rock it! You can make an inexpensive outfit look expensive with your confidence, accessories, your undergarments and how you carry yourself.

Hey Kristen, I love shopping online at Zappos. I’ve found some great deals on clothing and shoes. Also, the delivery of your items are fast. In the beginning I would have chosen the black dress. However, the rust dress drapes differently based on the fabric. I’m quite sure the rust dress is silk which is more expensive. But, everything was lovely. Thanks for the wonderful tips. Stay blessed as always.🙏🏾🤎

I thought the midnight blue dress fabric was 'silk charmeuse'. I Appreciate your emphasis on the steps involved in Presentation!!! Oops cut my sentence off……it’s about how you feel when wear your clothing, confidence shines through no matter the price points, if one feels good then it shows. Thank you for the dress comparison, thought the navy first one was the most expensive and not the mustard. Navy to me always looks classy and expensive. Actually who is the navy draped dress by, love it. Thanks again for all your wonderful videos, you are an inspiration on how to elevate a wardrobe with a few simple pieces. Cheers. 💐

Great video as always! I was totally wrong, since I thought the cream-colored dress was the most expensive. I figured I was wrong though, so at least I had that part right. I am not good with fabrics yet -- since I thought the rust colored dress was the least expensive. All of the dresses look very classy though. Great tips and no matter what your socioeconomic background -- I agree with you that you should mix and match price points when putting an outfit together. Also, the tip about being well put together is another great tip that everyone should integrate into their own personal style. I know you will be taking a break for awhile -- so looking forward to when you are back posting great videos. Thoroughly enjoyed the video! Stay safe. 🙂

Fabulous! I'm in my 50s and believe a woman should always look well put together. Call me old-fashioned... I have pieces in my closet that are 10, 15 years old. I still get stopped, complimented on them, and asked where they're from. Some designer, some fast fashion. So yes investment in good classic pieces is a given in my book.
