I bought a silicon mat for this technique 2 years ago and have been too scared to try it but I love how the embossed gears look!!!! Thank you for sharing!👍🏼

Awesome tips! Love how they turned out. I wonder if it would still work if you put the silicone mat between the platform and the cutting plate instead of on top of the cutting plate so you dont risk cutting the silicone mat? TFS these great tips! Love your card samples too. Hope you will share those.

Just a note France! Sizzix sells a Silicon Pad and Textured Impressions Plate designed to emboss dies. They are designed to work with Big Shot and like Sizzix die cutting/embossing machines.

the silicone sheet work wonderful I use to have the one for Sizzix but can found it so silicone sheet to the rescue :)
