This was a great video. A clear teaching style without a lot of extra chatting to make the video 45 min long! I will be sure to keep watching. (I’m a newby! And really need to learn. Thanks so much)

Wonderful video. I've looked for a while for a complete and comprehensive video on applique techniques and this one is by far the best. Thank you so much. I think I might actually give it a try.

Small tip I learned from another vlog that works great for removing WSS. Turn project over to the back and spritz the back of the design with water. You do not need much at all. Let sit for couple sec, turn over and the WSS will easily come completely off. Love this tip, i use it all the time... Very little water

I have a machine that looks identical to yours that was sold as a Bernina, discovered the motherboard was made by Janome, I often wonder who is actually making what for whom in this industry! Thank you for all these helpful tips!

I’m interested in what the towel looks like on the back…especially when stitching words on frt. What does it look like on back?

Good video , I am new at this and want to n know how to stitch out the whole design before I applique. My machine just does one part at a time and then does the stitch down
@SoFontsy2 жыл бұрын
Hi there! It sounds like you want the placement stitch. So you'll want to figure out how your machine does that.
@EmboP3562 жыл бұрын
Yes, I like how the placement stitch for the ENTIRE design was done at one time. Looks like Karlie touched the "spool +" icon which advances you to the next step of placement stitches. I'll need to refer to my manual for clarification. This would definitely save a lot of time! :). Hope you found out how to do this!

Do you put Heat and bond on a regular towel, when you putting an applique?

Just wondering when your embroidarying a recipe with pie on it, how does the back look on back? The writing will be backwards, is there anyway to handle the backwards writing?

I just bought my Brother embroidery machine and I can't find the sofontsy bundle that you mentioned. Is it not available any longer? Great video--just what I need as a beginner.
@SoFontsy3 жыл бұрын
Hi there! Our bundles are limited time offers so the one mentioned in this video is no longer available. We do have another embroidery and applique bundle here: sofontsy.com/collections/so-fontsy-design-shop/products/adorable-machine-embroidery-bundle-set-of-10

@@SoFontsy I'm so sad it's not available because I really like the design/bundle you demonstrated! But it has been a while since it was posted. Thanks for answering, and now I know about your company and will keep looking at your designs.

Don’t forget to take the backing off of your appliqué before you stitch it down. Ask me how I know……
