I’ve seen worse, Allan. You did an excellent job. I’m noticing all the embroidery work on our uniforms and how trash it is, but these big companies buy them by the boatload. All kinds of puckering on our shirts. Gives me major confidence going into the game full time in the near future.

Great video! I have not done Performance Gear yet but I will try your technique of 2 layers of cut away stabilizer. When I use spray adhesive I just use a cardboard box that I was going to put into recycling anyway (I always have at least 1 laying around) and spray my stabilizer in the box to prevent the spray from getting on anything else.

Great tip. I tried to say that in the video but said something silly about clothes lol. It’s tough for me to focus sometimes.

Looks great. Hopefully in the near future I can bit the bullet and own an embroidery machine. I see everyone financing them and then in a couple of months trying to resale them. Not sure if it's just them not wanting to learn the machine or they are not making the sales to pay the financing. I know there's a big learning curve and monthly price tag, so I'm trying to find a local person that does it to see if they can teach me before I even try to get one. Thanks for the knowledge you give on the machines. I will continue to learn!

Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. These things definitely have a steep learning curve. The return is worth it but most people don’t stick it out to reel the benefits.

Performance cutaway, Is the best when it comes down to performance apparel. Because when you use regular cut away you can see the the shape of the cutaway. With the performance cut away you won't see it it's not noticeable.
@adubbproductions Жыл бұрын
I’ve tried that mesh cutaway. It doesn’t work for me. Doesn’t look as clean as the hard cutaway. Some of my embroidery friends swear by it. I’ve never got results that I liked.

Does this method help with puckering after a wash. Thanks again for the motivation. 🤘🏾🤘🏾
@adubbproductions Жыл бұрын
Yes. It should look the same or very similar after washing. I suggest a very light press inside out with another piece of fabric covering the material.

I have a single needle, but getting ready to buy multi needle machine. How many needles do you recommend?
@robertgagnon2947 Жыл бұрын
Don’t leave points when cutting cutaway. Make all corners round. You will see a difference.
@adubbproductions Жыл бұрын
Thanks. I will try that.

I think I did. Customer provided the shirts. Wondering how much other people charge. How much would you have charged.
@errolsmith5634 Жыл бұрын
@@adubbproductions I would charge based on the materials/ time consumed yet be mindful of what the market charges. I hope I didn't offend you with my comment about you charging appropriately for them. It just seems as if the care, material, and time used ought to be worth it.

@@errolsmith5634 No, you didnt offend me I just really wanted to know what you would charge. I know I charged the right amount. It's always interesting for me to know how peope are charging.
