Are you looking to optimize your Jio Gigabit Router for better bandwidth control? In this step-by-step guide, we'll show you how to make the most of your JioFiber connection.
*🔗 Connect to Your Router*
Start by connecting to your Jio Gigabit Router, whether through a wireless or wired connection. Once connected, open your Chrome browser and enter the IP address 192.168.29.1. You'll be prompted to enter your User ID and Password.
If you're logging into the router for the first time, use the default credentials provided by Jio:
- *Default User ID:* Admin
- *Default Password:* Jiocentrum

*🔒 Accessing the Dashboard*
After entering your credentials, you'll gain access to the JioRouter dashboard. But before we dive into bandwidth control, you'll need to identify the devices you want to manage. You can find device details, including IP addresses and MAC addresses, under the Wireless Lan Clients and LAN Clients options in the Status menu.
*📈 Setting up Bandwidth Control*
Once you've identified your target devices, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Advanced option.
2. Click on Bandwidth Profile.
3. Enable the option by toggling it on.
4. Click "Add" at the bottom left.
5. Enter your internet connection's max speed.
6. Select the priority level.
7. Set the bandwidth percentage for the desired profile users.
8. Click "Save."
9. Go to the Traffic Selector option.
10. Click "Add."
11. Select the profile you created.
12. Enter the IP Address, IP Subnet Details, or MAC address of the devices you want to manage bandwidth for.

your whole internet speed, upload and download will be reduced to 10% of the max capacity. This will include anything you do on your device like youtube, browser, fb ,insta etc

Once you change the password, you have to relogin.. after relogin you can see the dashboard of router. Let me know if u still see the same issue.

sure, you can block any applicaiton/games on your phone connected with your wifi router. firstly you have know the app/geame supported link If you using Anroid Go to settings-->search for Apps settings--> select and open the game options you want to block Select the Set as Default option--> you will be seeing Supported URLs, Copy the address or make a note and paste it into router website blocker setting in Router. you can block the games with this changes in your router. let me know it works with you or not. 1. firstly, you have to select the Wifi profile name(SSID name)(eg. Jio 2, Jio 3..etc) and assign the IP address range for it from the DHCP configuration page for that profile. 2. add the Bandwidth profile name and select the Wifi Profile Name for it and apply the traffic selector option. first of all, you can not change the Jio Fiber router to TP Link Router.. and TP link Fiber routers are mostly expensive and it can be used as wifi extender/access points.

Yes you can do it.. create a traffic profile and assign bandwidth to 20mbs.

@@AkssatChoudhary If you are really looking for an option to control the internet speed for specific users.. then its not possible with Jio router.. the above setting will work to limit the upload bandwidth for specific devices.. example.. if you have a devices like TV or any other video streaming and you dont want them to use high upload bandwidth because you want to utilize for your live gaming.. then you can limit the upload bandwidth for TV. so you can get lag less streaming of your live game.

Most of the time installation engineers will set the passwords other thn default, you can please reach out to installation engineer or reset the router by long pressing the reset button backside of the router. Once you reset you can configure your router by entering default user id password.

Bilkul Karsakte ho app.. kya app bata sakte k aap kounsa internet use karre ya router.. Jio Use karre ho to .. below steps follow kijiye and you can restrict your connected users. Open MyJio app. Login with your JioFiber Service ID or RMN and OTP. Click->Settings->Device Settings->My Device->Wait for a few seconds until JIoFiber Router details appear. Tap on "Block" to block device.
