How to enable cruise control in BSI and engine ECU using Diagbox Peugeot Citroen vehicles

Hey nice video and very straight to the point. i have a question. I own a citroen c3 2014 and a 208 2017 and i want to enable the open/close window with keyfob on both veihcles. Is it doable with diabox? So if it is ill go ahead and buy one or if its not ill live without that feature

Hi great video. In my case I bought a seocnd hand citroen with the cruise control you describe. However cruise control only works on 3rd and 4th gear. My theory is that it doe snot work on 5th because the previous owner changed the gearbox (he told me so). Therefore I need to change the ECU to identify the new gearbox so it can calculate the right revs per speed. Can you make a video doing that? Thanks

Could you do this for me as a service? What area are you in? I have my stalk I added. The buttons work via an obd reader, brake pedal has multi wire switch and clutch pedal also has a switch. Its on a 2009 C2 1.4HDI. I also need to change injector trim codes as I fitted a new set and its not quite sweet enough.

So i have everything in place, all sensors on pedals are present. I can code it in bsi aswell. But in the engine it is greyed out. "Present" is greyed out. Does older diagbox solve this issue too? (207 1.4 8v 2007)

If you're not allowed through on the config page, change your version to an older diagbox before internet coding was compulsory, try V7.57 for example.

@@Janchek1992 it probably is, but you'll probably need the most up to date version which would mean a trip to the dealer. I found it won't let us do config in new stuff without an internet connection to PSA

Could I bring my car up to you to try this? I tried an old Lexia and it would not auto read my vin number and no options shown to select any systems. It was older style graphics with yellow outlines.. Or may be help me find a version known to work? I am near Dover, I dont mind a good drive to try. its a 2009 C2 1.4hdi

Yes most likely it will work as these ECUs usually have the cruise control software inside already

I get the error "adaptive cruise control failure" and "collision risk detection system failure". Is it the same as your problem? Can it be fixed with lexia3? I think the front ACC radar sensor needs to be calibrated. Is this possible with lexia3? If possible I will buy lexia3 v9.91 Is adaptive cruise control and automatic cruise control different? I think you fit a different switch and no wiring is required. I've never done it, so not too sure sorry.

Yes there is a way, I have a feeling that's only possible on vans as you don't normally see the menu. Have a look around, you should find it. It's in 2 or 3 locations, engine ecu bsi, then somewhere else in the bsi, that's what I remember from the last time i turned one off but that was a long time ago now.

@@bnyo it's not an option in that SW, you could try fitting a newer 1.4 ECU where it was possible, but then it will also use a different bsi so might not be so easy to do that

But after entering ECU and Manual configuration i have 3 options : ECU downloading, Injectors classification and Cinfigurable vehicke speed governed. I entered all 3, no chance. So i kinda cannot enter BSI alteady on 2 programs 🙁

Hi mate, just looking for a bit of clarity in regards to the diagnostic tool. I've got a 2007 citreon xsara picasso which I'm trying to stop the new second radio I installed beeping and also try to get the cruise control working. Is the diagnostic tool in the link going to be compatible with my vehicle? also I only have a laptop with windows 11 installed, I've read It needs to be an older version of Windows for it to work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, thanks for the reply! I think I can download and revert back to windows 10 on my laptop, if I use the software just to do the jobs, then I can wipe the harddrive and restore my windows 11. Hopefully this mitigates the viruses as it is my only laptop. Just another question, is there any other reason you can think of why my CC isn't working? like I said, it's not a retrofit, it was already installed in the car when I got it. I've also changed the break/clutch switch. My stick doesn't have a speed limiter, it just has an on/off. No light appears on the dash if I turn on. I don't know if that's normal and it just turns on when the CC is engaged. Is it just a case that even if all the components are installed there's a chance it's not been activated? Also, are you based in London? (or near) if you wanted to send me a quote to look at the CC and radio beep, that would be ideal for me.
