i bought a curry plant in a pot. It has grown to about two feet tall. but it is not growing bushy. there are no side branches. Please advise what I can do to encourage a bushy growth. Thank you.
@360Rainbow3 жыл бұрын
Prune at the growing end, it will become vigorously bushy before you know it. I will update a pruning video very soon, so you get an idea. Dont worry, it is growing season. Especially spring and summer there are more scope that you can expect from your curry leaf plant. Please subscribe to 360Rainbow and if interested check my other videos. Thank You.

Hello, I have just bought a new curry leaf plant from a garden center in Vancouver Any suggestions to keep my plant alive ? As you know Canada is a cold country and I have to keep the pot inside
@360Rainbow3 жыл бұрын
Hi! I believe it must be a baby plant. So keep them inside your home near windowsill preferably or any light & humidity available location. This will help your plants to give time for developing stronger roots. Mean time do not use any harsh fertilizers. May be once in 3 weeks you can give cowdung fertilizer which is the best and safe for baby plants. And once in a month use neem concentrate to avoid any infections. Water your plants once in a week. Just try to spray foliage everyday. Curry leaf plants do not like wet roots so make sure your top soil is dry before you water for the next time. After a month you can transplant to a pot relative to your plant size with good well draining or moisture controlled potting mix. Hopefully by next month cold will be gone. If the weather is less than 55 F, do not keep them outside. After that, keep them outside in partial shade for a week and then you can move them to your preferable place, sunny or even partial shade. Curry leaf plant love sun very much. So no worries during summer. When it is in full sun, you can water them every day checking the dryness of your top soil. After 3 months you can use rice water, bone meal and other fertilizers you prefer once in 2 weeks. If your plants roots are already developed it will grow faster this summer, if not it will take time. But once the roots are developed, it will grow faster. So dont worry until unless it is not alive.

Mosser Lee's - it improves water drainage. In general horticultural sand is good and is often known as sharp sand, coarse sand, or quartz sand. If you have difficulty finding horticultural sand, you can substitute builders sand.
