a good trick for the alternator is cover it with a bag of some sort, cutting a trashbag to size and taping it works great

dont forget to agitate with a brush, then you wont need to do so many passes with the degreaser and the power washer.

I live in a apartment, so could I just drive 2 miles away to spray off at a car wash with the engine cleaner all soaked in? You said that, but I would have to sit at the carwash for 2 hours while the car cools down lol

take the maf off the housing, throw it in a ziplock bag and close it during the process

5:15 Lot of dirt right under the air intake hose. Also a plastic/rubber dressing would have greatly enhanced the look of the black parts, that still had that grayish tint.

@@nicolasrosario2037 Mass Airflow Sensor. Expensive and sits in the intake piping. I assume he didn't hit his, but if you just go shoving stuff in there, you can damage it.
