CONFIRMED! I worked for Wendy's for 13 years. THIRTEEN. 12 as an assistant manager. The last 3 as a GM. The beef has never ever EVER been frozen. Quang, the burgers you ate that day were cows a week before. A lot of the beef in the US for Wendy's comes from Canada, my man! And we did food orders 3 times a week. My unit made around $50k a week in sales and we went through about 15 cases of 4oz patties and 17 cases of 2.2oz patties per week. 40 lbs a case. I do not work for them anymore, but I can assure you that QUALITY is a word used in their restaurants and in every manager meeting every day. My respect to them.

Worked at Wendy's the summer after I graduated highschool, can confirm that both the meat in the chili is used from extra burgers that got cooked on the flat top but weren't used, and that the burgers are in fact not frozen; they're just refrigerated and kept in a sort of walk in refrigerator. I'm also pretty sure they don't order them every day.

@Quang Tran. I can confirm...I worked there for 8 years. Every Wednesday they get a truck...meat is kept in the fridge never in the freezer. The salads are made in store fresh everyday and the bacon is 100% real and raw, pan, prepped and baked. The chili is made with the burger patties that are not used in time of service...they are steamed until it's time to make chili. Overall for Wendy's to have all fresh food it is a great fast-food restaurant. A lot of work goes into the quality of the food.
