Many of you know Surströmming as the stinkiest fish in the world. There are many videos of people doing the challenge and failing to eat even a bite of it. But if Swedish in the 16th century were able to eat Surströmming without any problems, why are so many people nowadays puking in front of the camera once they have opened the can?
I have decided to try this challenge with a good friend of mine. We actually tasted and experienced the traditional Swedish way of eating this lightly salted and fermented Baltic Sea herring - Surströmming.
