Dear Andrew, am your new subscriber. we are family of 4 planning to visit paris for 5 days with my daughter and mother. With this entrance guide i feel its a hidden gem - a few bloggers talked but didn’t show the actual entrance how to go - probably you are the first youtuber. Kudos to you One more point if we will go via that way what would be the closest metro station? Thank you once again
@AndrewPrior Жыл бұрын
Thanks so much and sorry for the late reply. Have you been already or still coming to France. The metro is Palais Royal-Musee du Louvre.

Is it true, that now with covid, you have to buy online in order to go through caroussel? Or can you still go through caroussel and then buy tickets? Asking because i go to paris in a few days 😃
@AndrewPrior2 жыл бұрын
Bonjour, I'm not in Paris at the moment but from the website, at the moment that does seem to be the case. But things are changing all the time as you probably expect from the times we are in lately. So I would make sure you check when you arrive if that's still the same requirement.

i have a question. i’m from the USA and i want to pay the tickets in advance but i can’t because i have to pay in euros what do i do?
@AndrewPrior5 жыл бұрын
Jade Macario bonjour and how exciting that you are coming to Paris. Hope you have a fab time and thanks for watching my videos. So for the Louvre I know it’s a hassle re the US credit cards etc sometimes not being accepted. But to be honest for the Louvre I wouldn’t worry about getting online as you can always get on the day. Also this is a good option as they don’t usually allow you to get a refund if you can’t make the day you buy them for. So I’d recommend heading off early on the day you want to go and buying there. Remember from my video the line is for security not the tickets. So if you take the short cut route I’ve recommended you should be able to get in with a maximum 15 minute wait and then maybe 10 minutes if that for the tickets. Tickets now are all sold via machine so they have more places to buy them there which is great. The machines accept all cards so it shouldn’t be a problem. Now if you are planning on going to Versailles or the Eiffel tour that’s another story. Message me at travellingfabulously@gmail.com if you are planning on going to them and I will give you more info. À bientôt Andrew

@AndrewPrior4 ай бұрын
Depends on how old you are.
@diggingmystyle Жыл бұрын
You can walk in thru the pyramid without any waiting if you reserve a time slot.
@AndrewPrior Жыл бұрын
It's the security line that's the main wait when you go by the entrance upstairs. If you go through the entrance I've mentioned or through the metro station entrance then you go through a smaller line. Hope that helps.

Why does ANYONE queue up by the pyramid if it’s much quicker to enter via the carrousel?? I don’t understand
@AndrewPrior5 жыл бұрын
There are two queues one at the top at the pyramid and one below in the carrousel. Both are security checks but you only need to go through one or the other. Not many people know of the one downstairs and you only really go through it if you are entering from the metro station. So that's why its a smaller queue and better to go down and enter through. :)
@jake23555 жыл бұрын
Andrew Prior Sweet, man! You’re a star! I would’ve been waiting in that big queue like an absolute weapon if it weren’t for this video! I’ve got the full day in Paris on Saturday but there’s other stuff I wanna do so I don’t want to waste much time queuing 😂👍🏼
