I had no idea you could do this with epoxy, I always thought the only ways to strengthen an open deck was either with stronger sleeves or inserts. Also gotta mention your garage is SUPER clean, really nice man.

When I worked at Racers Edge AZ we would do this to LS motors and such but we used Grout. A lot of times it's not always just to keep the open deck sleeves from moving but also hels under high boost levels to keep the Cylinder from "Balooning" out at the top. We also biuld a lot of 2JZ and Cyotoe 5.0 "Dry Blocks" that were meant to go for strait line drag racing on methinal and lots of boost then shutting them down. The only times those "dry Block" engines run is for Testing, Staging and Racing then shut them down at end of the Track no need to keep a engine cool that will be rebiult after a harsh race. Another thing you can do too is make Copper "O Rings" that have Corrisponding groove on the head and top of the Deck which is another way to strangthen the opened deck blocks as well of sealing. Cool video man! Nice work!

Hey man, fellow mx3 owner just got my hands on 2. My last one was stolen and crushed. Sadly I lost a ton of custom gear. Trans, turbo, corksport supports and fully adjustable ride etc. I was hoping you might be able to either point me in a direction or you yourself might have anything laying around a guy could buy or get blueprints for in repimping my 3-4th mx3. If there's a way I could DM and pick your brain your God. Thanks for making a dream of mine a reality and kicking@$$ with it! Iv binged every video on that baby and it's a real inspiration to us low means daily drifters. Thanks and keep up the awesome work man

What drawn me to this video was the idea of molding a set of head studs for a 4.6L 32v V8 Northstar engine for my 01' Cadillac DeVille, then I thought of making a twin turbo the same way. My question is if I were to do this, do you think I'll have a successful result? And how should I go about doing this?

I'm thinking of doing that to my 206, but just a little around the bottom of the cylinder liners, to help hold them in place and seal their point of contact with the block. Any suggestions of brands and products with good properties that can also take hot oil?

Of course, I'm just making a whole new setup and I'm going for reliability. Before it always broke all the time, transmissions mainly. Then engines were blowing up from having a distributor style ignition. Now I have custom wiring harnesses, Toyota camry transmissions that can hold 1000 whp. New ignition systems and now better built engines lol

Could bp swap , make the same power with way less work and money… and already has a solid block. 400 horse on a stock piston rod set up and block . Just big turbo and turbo equipment … what I’m doing right now on my mx6 is bp swapping and big turbo. I’ll spend way less . Less weight and still once I build the engines and do the mods . Get ms2 tuned , I’ll smoke the tits off those v6 junk
