Wow I'm amazed at how these posters don't respond to the questions below. Unfortunately most of us have to go to professional garage door company to get an expensive answer that might not resolve the issue. Technology has its limitations.

I have sears/craftsman 41A3625 and when pressed yellow button for 6 seconds LED or 20 secs memory does not get erased. Please advise if there is any other method.

I have a sears craftsman old garage opener with SR code yellow button on the back. Pressing the button for 6-10 seconds is supposed to reset and erase all the programmed codes and any remote codes. However, I am unable to reset the codes and the led besides the button never goes off when I keep the SR code button pressed for 30 seconds or 1 min. Sears tells me that the logic board has to be replaced and is not something available since it is an old system. Is there an alternate way to reset the codes on the logic board? Please guide

When I press the yellow button, the led stays on, it does not go off after 6 sec. Right now each remote makes both doors open at the same time. I'm trying to program each remote for each door. Any ideas?

my chamberlain lift master 1/2 hp manf. 4/1992 model 1155lm will not delete my remotes. I've held the button down for over 3+minutes but it just stays a solid red. once i let go I can program a remote to work but not delete any of them. Since i just added a brand new remote my neighbors remotes will open my door but my remote will not open theirs. PLEASE HELP

Darn. Another video that shows how to change the code on an opener but doesn't explain how to remove previous codes from the REMOTE! I'm disappointed. (yes, my remote opens my garage door. but it still opens my neighbor's, too.)

The neighbor has to erase your remote from his garage opener.

The code on the remote doesn't change. The garage opener learns the code. It needs to unlearn it.
