Bleach doesn’t kill mold..it just bleaches it out. Sorry. It still grows. Hydrogen peroxide is effective.

I fixed my warm fridge that had a normal cold freezer by melting the ice around the freezer fan with a hair dryer. The ice jam was caused by an open fridge door. My Maytag fridge was exactly like the fridge of "KZbinr Andrew DIY". I found this video by doing a Google Lens search of the cold air vent in my fridge.

Excellent video my old grill sounded like an airplane very loud. I unscrewed the grill with no grill. It’s totally silent no noise at all, but I will be trying this cover the eggshell shaped one because it gives 95% airflow.

I would avoid using magsafe safe wallets. Most of mafesafe wallets I purchased would stripe certain debit cards. especially cards that have just the stripe on the back.

Interesting, I've never had that problem with mine. I guess the older stripe only cards may be a problem.

I put a Mini Split in my little 1-car Garage (120VDC - 12000 BTU) .. I bought a no-name brand for $475, then two years later I bought another one for my son's room .. They're awesome .. Prusa = Expencive .. There are much less expensive supported printers out there (Creality, Anycubic, and Anet come to mind as affordable with great communities around them) ..
@AndrewDIYАй бұрын
What did your mini splits do to your electricity bills? I'm up $100-$200 a month. Still worth it though. Good to know about the other 3D printers. Thanks!
@67cometАй бұрын
@@AndrewDIY I haven't noticed a change, but I also added a ton of solar panels to my roof the year before. My son has his cranked either direction depending on the season. I only use the garage Mini Split when I'm working out there (it doesn't do as good a job of heating as it does at cooling - that's for sure - In the winter's coldest days (15-20* F) it'll freeze up solid outside - ). I'll add a couple more over this next year, then we'll really see what my electric bill jumps to (gas heat, bargain basement forced air AC is the current setup).

Sand doesn't compact, too much sand will give you a mushy base, 3/4 and no more is best. It is the road base underneath the sand that needs to be thick, compacted, and level.

I've probably commented many years ago on this video (because it looks familiar), but I needed to reset the thermostat again and couldn't find my computer file telling me how to do it. I really appreciate the simplicity (at least for the part where you just bump the temperature button up or down and then press hold - That's all I cared about). Thank you again!!!

If you have an older garage door, but a fairly new garage door opener then you will need to replace the rollers with new nylon rollers. OR, use a lithium spray and hit your old rollers and hinges (everything that moves) with that spray. Your door will become quieter and should remove the down-force resistance it is detecting. The first time you try to lower your door you might need to push on it a little to make it close. Get that lithium grease moved around!

Hello, I learned a lot from your video, and I really appreciate your insights. I would like to know your opinion about using paver base pads on a clay foundation. I dug about 4 inches to install the paver base pads and noticed that the foundation is clay. I live in the northeastern part of the US, where we experience ice and snow during the winter. I wanted to get your opinion on this. Do you think it’s okay to use paver base pads over a clay foundation?

How the sensor works? If was reading the manual and came to the part of cleaning of the sensor). Trying that i can clearly see that if the cover is on, the sensor is blocked by the cover. Once i am keeping the cover open the quality of the air changes immediately from good to bad. I am not getting that....

The sprocket broke while my garage door was opening. It was approximately three-fourths of the way open, and it slammed down. The chain was hanging. Once the sprocket and chain are replaced, does the door need to be balanced????? I was told it had to be re-balanced at a cost of $229. Please let me know if this is necessary. Thanks in advance for a response
@AndrewDIY2 ай бұрын
It sounds like the torsion springs broke, if that is the case, it would usually be part of the cost when replacing the springs. If your total bill was in the neighborhood of $400-$500 that would sound accurate for a total on parts and labor for the ENTIRE job not just balancing, I hope that makes sense.
@KathySuePeré2 ай бұрын
The springs were fine. The gear/sprocket broke. So he replaced the gear, reattached the chain, reset it and then balanced the door. He said it was necessary to rebalance the door. Was it necessary to rebalance the door?
@AndrewDIY2 ай бұрын
@@KathySuePeré If I am understanding you correctly and we are using accurate terminology, then no. If the torsion springs are still in good condition and haven’t been adjusted, you typically won’t need to rebalance the garage door after replacing the sprocket and chain. The sprocket and chain are part of the opener mechanism, which assists in lifting the door but doesn’t affect the balance directly. The torsion springs are what counterbalance the weight of the door, so as long as they’re set correctly and functioning well, the door should remain balanced. After replacing the sprocket and chain, test the door to ensure it moves smoothly and evenly. If it feels heavy or uneven, that may indicate a separate issue with the springs or another component.
